What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

Nice day yesterday..Sunday.. With the car just over the 1000 mile mark
Gave it its first oil and filter change..

Found it easier jacking the nearside, and taking wheel off..made access easier.
Bought 2 x 5ltrs of Ford Castrol 5W 20. The Gt takes 7.6ltrs with the filter too.

Filter tool made the job easy...and a plastic bag over the oil filter saved any leaks as the filter came out...there's not a lot of room to maneuver there.

Job well done and didnt take long...oh and reset the oil service light too..

That means i can thrash the beast now... just need a clear stretch of road to let rip...which is a hard task these days..

Well , actually made the effort to look at the car today

Still grinding away at the software to get it right with its new parts installed , we believe the primary O2 sensor failed on us and needless to say Ford UK didn't have one so just been staring at the car for a week while we get a new one ordered

Its arrived now so back to the grindstone to see if we can get this tune right

Interesting to see those strips on your decklid as i have a pair sitting waiting on me deciding whether to fit them. Not sure I'd get them that straight but at least i know i like them now

New decklid from ford and separate badge. Couldn't get older plain decklid so went with MY18 one. Glad I did.

Finally got round to fitting the Interior LED Upgrade Bulb Kit to my OWN Mustang..!
Been busting a gut sorting out everyone else's orders.!

Wow what a difference.. Message me if u want a kit..

And then rock n roll... Fitted my new pressed alum plates.. Happy days..

What did I do to my Mustang today??

I drove it!! For the first time this year!! My God, what a great car and soooo satisfying to drive, but I was back to square one on controlling the judder from a standing start. I need to get my Steeda clutch spring fitted.

The entire bumper was removed for two small mods this weekend (there's more substantial upgrades coming soon I promise!):
1) Replacing the ugly lower grille we get on the Euro Mustangs with the authentic US spec design with matching honeycomb pattern and 'fangs'.
2) Wire in Switchbank DRL/Indicators.

Both involved way more work than they're worth, but they're nice subtle improvements.
