bad news, pittsbhurg pro 1.5 ton jack couldn't even raise my car high enough to slide jack stands under... had to wait for my friend with his daytona jack

good news, harbor freight has a 3 ton low profile rapid pump daytona jack on sale today that I'll be getting

drove a bit over 2hrs to Carlisle with @JohnnyGT . Stayed 2hrs and saw one other Brittany Coastal. If I go back next year maybe I'll pay the fee to park in the display field. There were also only 2 N4G cars (both GT) there and it was a nice visual break from a sea of the other. A couple of the deep dark Ruby were there too.

@Jaime had his widened Shelby there but had zero placards or other build sheets posted which was a shame since I doubt few even noticed.

By random stopped and talked to a Boss 302 guy (1 of 252) for a good while and shared contact info. One lady had a red GT with custom 2-tone with black that deviated strongly from all the metoo rabble.

Johnny remarked that one guy who painted various pieces of engine bay carbonized gray to match body results in a class look. I have to agree.

I replaced the lug nuts with one piece gorilla nuts. Last time at the track 2 of the stock 2 piece nuts got jammed in the socket so I know that they are starting to swell.

Since I was jacking the car up anyway I decided it was a nice day to get rid of the boring stock calipers and to clean and wax the wheels.

Since my Mustang has the "red package" interior I went with red calipers. The EcoBoost performance package wheels are a satin black, not a glossy like the GT performance wheels. So they look better, but not shiny.

I also confirmed that it is time to replace the tires. After 5 track days and about 15,000 miles of daily driving the Pirelli PZero are worn out. I never liked them - they are just as bad as the Pirelli all season tires as far as wear, noise, and grip. Will not be putting them back on, and am looking at various other summer tires. Maybe go with the Michelin.

Got my performance pack spoiler and LVA wicked bill on today. What a pain in the ass with only one person… my car was spoiler delete from factory so I got to have extra fun drilling holes without a template… also didn’t send me half the hardware for the spoiler.. good times. Don’t mind the car is filthy.

That looks fantastic. Do you have any other angles from the side?

Just got my new Shelby GT 500 spoiler back from the painter and test fitted it. Also buffed out the trunk, removing the old spoiler outline. Still waiting on new trunk stripe from Big Worm Grafix to complete the job.

Yeah the 80 rating is a sick joke. Try supercar3 or kuhmo v730

This from Friday but was out of town at a baseball tournament with my son. The Mustang trunk space is very underrated. Put about 350 miles on it just for the tournament. Lots of rural highway driving so I got to really open her up.

I had Michelin Primacy Tour A/S on my 2018 Eco and liked them a lot.
