It only rubbed slightly with two people in it and forgot to take my box of lowering springs out from the trunk. Once out no issues.
you need at least a couple inches of suspension travel. one god high G sweeper or a few hard hits and that paint is toast. word to the wise... buyer beware... etc.

Not going to be doing any high G sweepers with this set up. Highest G sweeper I take is the on-ramp sweeper.😂 Maybe the next one when I go with the Pedders extreme Coil overs and do R888rs all the way around will be my high G sweeper. This is a straight line runner until about May/June. But duly noted👍🏼

Big day here!

Supercharger arrived today so I started the install of my goodies. I’m taking my time so if I don’t have it wrapped up this weekend hopefully the next!

Mine has a bit of poke at the back, but as the suspension travels it 'arcs' into the fender so it doesn't hit the fender. I've got a curved driveway so can get a real good look at it. Yours looks a little more pronounced.

That’s a nice looking poke. Mine is, I have about a 1/4” poke. But I live in AZ and it’s mainly highways where I live to get anywhere. Honestly I’m not worried about it. I have a GTO that has lowering springs and in the back it rubs when you look at it while parked lol. But like I said this set up is temporary. I was going for an old school muscle car look. I accomplished it and on to the next set up here in a few months.

Welcome to the club! As a fellow 300A owner my recommendation for the first mod is wheels and tires, the stock 18's look nice but the 235's with all seasons just don't cut it for the GT :) You can run up to a 19x10 in the front without clearance issues and no modifications.

Second mod is a much louder exhaust ;)

As a side note that grabber blue metallic looks fantastic. I wish that was an option on prior years but it's a great send off for the S550.

as others have said… As suspension moves it goes up and in. People put 345 rear tires and lowering kits and don’t even rub. The other car will be fine as long as they don’t jump the car lol.. which I am 100% positive they won’t be haha

A day late posting as usual.

Ordered 4 Apex 19x10 ET40s SM-10s in anthracite for it:

Would have preferred silver but Apex only had 1 for months and says they will never make more silver SM-10s for a Mustang. Thought about bronze but it's matte and I love shiny.

Also ordered a wall mount garage door opener. My car's therapist confided with me that the car has anxiety about the overhead opener falling.

A little more expensive than a comparable overhead but basically just because it requires a separate device to lock the door in position. But very quiet, easier to install, and nothing overhead taking up space or blocking/dictating locations for overhead lights, etc.
Very nice wheels, I'm looking at the EC-7 or the SVE's. One season of swapping pads cured me of lugging the Ford wheels around, oof. btw I have the very same garage door opener (due to having a lift installed, and no I'm not rich, not poor either) fwiw the cool app that goes on your phone, fuggetaboutit! The wifi/bluetooth thing keeps dropping it's connection so I just had the guys send me another old skool opener. But it's a good door opener.

Am having second thoughts on doing this:
