Looks great. Is the center console softer than the regular plastic console, or is that stitching just more design? Looks awesome either way
It's extremely thin (if any) padding under a "leather" wrap. I believe it's made by wraping a standard console. The kneepads are not a wrap over the standard.

Had my Weld 18x5’s powder coated to match the rear beadlocks.

It's softer. It's actually a leather wrap (possibly pleather) with real stitching, but it's much nicer to the touch and easier on the eyes.

Rough day, I gave up my favorite princess to her new owner. A really close friend that needed some joy more than me right now so I sold her to him. He’s over the moon right now. I’ll miss her. My precious Athena and I had a good run. 🍻

FWIW, if someone wants red stitching and the price is right, that silver (Ford's labeling) can be dyed to an indistinguishable match to the red factory stitching. Get dye that does NOT need heat curing (most do) for longest life. Just apply the dye to the stitches with a dye pen and quickly wipe with something absorbent. The dye will wipe completely off the "leather" but has soaked into the threads.

Got to work on my replacement Gorilla nuts. Cleaned the oily residue from them with some All purpose citrus cleaner. This made them go quite dull but thankfully the clear coat once applied, brought the shine back. Hopefully these will not rust like the last set. Need to give them a second coat tomorrow. Made up a little jig as well to hold the nuts so they could be sprayed evenly and left to dry.

My dad then went on to make a shelf for the lockup as we've got too many bottles stashed in various drawers and kit bags. I think he's done a decent DIY job.

Whoa, that's some obsessive nut cleaning! 🤣
