It's their vehicle ... they can react and do what they want. Seems like you're tying to talk people out of doing whatever security measures they want to do to help prevent a possible vehicle theft.
Not really.

It's something I noticed when I used to watch the Clarkson, Hammond & May Top Gear stuff. Lots of references to car thefts.

Nicely done, those look great! Good heads up about the diffuser lights.
Thanks!

I stopped after finishing them. Have too much real work to do at work today.

But, I found two springs and two little thingies on the sheet that I had under the car. They’re not from any of the lights. The only thing I could think of was active exhaust, but it’s functioning fine.

Anyone have any ideas? It would be from the rear bumper/diffuser area.

Muffler bearings?

Took an angle grinder to my car. Ran out of time so I'll wrap it up this weekend.

no noticable performance increase... bad install?

PXL_20230114_201255862.jpg
You have them set up backwards.

Orient the front one towards the driver and the back one towards the passenger.

If that doesn’t help, check the connecting rods between the driver seat tensioner and muffler bearing. Sometimes those become loose when installing coasters.

I suppose it depends on which hole Arigr prefers

Been slowly installing the steeda ultimate stop the hop kit over the past week.... been a real PITA.

Started with learning I had a missing subframe bolt, the one behind it was also halfway out. Had to wait 3 days to get new bolts in.

Got the toe links in today, and one of the rear vertical links, was torquing the bolt down and it snapped in half... now I gotta wait for more parts. The vertical link was a real pain getting the bottom bolt to line up.

Beefed up security with a pedal lock. I hate steering locks as I always find they mark the steering wheel. I've tried various disklok products. So hopefully this will be a bit of a visual deterant as well as being easier to handle and stow away.

Well, it's a decent deterrent... not knocking it, but also know that the evil ones can spend $62 or less, saw through the steering wheel and still walk away with a $50k+ vehicle that h-a-d a "club like" steering wheel lock...

Oh, c'mon now - what a damn tease! You post an image of your CF diffuser, but have a Cobra lurking in the background! 🤣

What's the info/stats on the Cobra? 😁

I can see why you might think muffler bearings. But, to me, it looks more like something to do with the Kunootzen valve or the Fultenator.

The rear side marker lights are a piece of cake.

The rear diffuser lights are a pain in the ass. Looks so easy on the video. I ended up using a wrench to get the nut of the reflector. It’s a pain to get it back on the new light, too.

I’m wiring in the passenger side now. Driver side is pictured.

Then, it will be on to the reverse light.
I plan on doing the diffuser lights and the 4th brake light also when it warms.

I assume you wired the rear diffuser light with the side marker light?

How are you connecting the wires? Splicing and heat shrinking, or using supplied taps??
