Today I changed the air vents, I adapted the parts from a mercedes C w205. There are plug&play solutions on the market with the same design, but I ended up making the adaptation because I like DIY work and also because I found a good deal on parts. The vent housing itself did't needed any modification, I just changed the central "plate". These vents have also a "perfume container".

That is AWESOME!!! Mercedes has some of the best looking dashes and air vents on the market IMO.

My wife is on vacation in Mexico. I did these things to her car to surprise her tomorrow…

Gon' be a happy wife! And if she isn't, I'll be your wife instead!

Sometimes I get sad with the Bullitt - all these visual mods I'm seeing are cool, but I'm torn in wanting to keep the Bullitt as close to stock and not add badging...

Now that's very cool. Where did your source the parts and what's your "all in" for the conversion?

thank you all, I dont want to "steel" the topic for these modification, but here is the resume :)

-The parts i bought for mercedes w205, there are online "cheap" upgrade kits for this car, i used only the 3 central vents. Anyone who is ok with diy work will be able to do it without any problems, only the mercedes part (center) is changed, everything else on the air vent housing is the mustang oem part without changes, as you can see in the photo bellow.
For those who don't want to do these, there are mustang specific kits online with a similar design, not quite the same, but very similar (I posted the link on the previous page)

BTW, today I did a small upgrade, I added a silver contour line to the oem handbrake, something very simple to do, there are videos on youtube, for those who are interested just search for "add deviated stitching". (Its the oem leather with black stitching, just adding the silver stitching manually)

Nothing yet, but can't wait to get back home! Drove a Toyota rental on Atlanta's highways.. many GTs passed me.. felt like a schmuck! 🤪 my ride is waiting at the airport in Fort Lauderdale.

Just got the highest horsepower mod ever 🤭

I went with CF, not a fan of the stainless steel frames due to the potential for scratching. Also ordered some IRS goodies this morning

Looks good but I understand that matte CF has a higher HP rating than gloss! :cwl:

I just ceramic coated it to, so maybe that gets me closer to the matte HP rating 😂
