I put my winter wheels and tires on a couple of weeks ago -- bought a set of stock wheels with the stock Pirelli all seasons on them last year with about 5,000 miles on them. We had a snow storm and I couldn't get up my driveway. Ordered a set of Michelin X-ice, but they turned out not available (only 2 were available) and had to switch.

Installed the PIrelli Scorpion winter tires. I hope that they are better than the Pirelli Pzero all season tires.

Checked the tread on the PIrelli all season that came off and all were at 4/32 - really wore out quickly. But quick wear has always been my experience with those Pirelli Pzero stock tires. I think my summer tires might have had more grip!

Itā€™s 50 degrees here today so took it to a touchless car wash and gave it a good spray down and wash. Got last weekā€™s salt off (and of course thereā€™s a rain/snow mix in the forecast for mid week next week so more salt likely coming).

Finally finished installing my Katzkin interior. Holy macaroni, what a job, but...totally worth it.
The leather smells sooooooo good!

Also how do they compare comfort wise to stock leather seats.
Much more comfortable than stock leather. Thicker, yet more supple. Very high quality. Feels like high quality baseball glove leather.
I went this route with my F-150 and couldn't agree more. The quality is way better than OEM.

I installed the rear seats which were super easy but after thinking about it, I decided to have the fronts dony by a professional lol.

Today I removed the back section of the rear seats. Lost about 20 lbs total.

Why did I do this? Because when I fit my bike back there the rear seats always unbalance my bike so wobbles while transporting it (did not have this problem in my 2017 with its flatter rear seats)

Not today but I ordered a new steering wheel from Tim at Beith Performance Parts. Should have in time for Christmas ā€¦ My other half thinks Iā€™ve been ripped off because the wheel isnā€™t round lolšŸ˜‚

Took to her to an amazing car show organized by one of the many local NASCAR legends here in the Charlotte area. Many of the cars were top notch, while others were just crazy. Here is mine and one of the filthy customs with 3, yes 3 superchargers.

Managed to do a paint correction and put its first coat of ceramic on it. Iā€™m getting too old for this stuff.

Looks good. When I did the same thing to my Bronco it took the better part of a day and I was saying the same thing lol
Cost was $1300 CAD (approx. $1000 USD). Got a killer deal thru a friend.

Nice. Looked at a Mustang GT today and the dealer has someone who can do heated leather seats for $1600 which I feel isn't bad.

Winter preparation for
more cooling for the race car.
948 setrab oil cooler. (From mishi cooler)
650 setrab trans cooler (from 934 so little smaller cause is too cold now with also bypass lol )
I will stack them. (trans first ,oil.cooler after and plenty of free flow to radiator)
Thinking on tilting the cooler and radiator.
Pf course all boxed and ducted.

Also shredded the shroud but is a mistake cause the fans are not attached to the radiator. There is a gap of 1") due to the shroud shape) that means the fan with re-circle air from the new opening rather than "pull from the radiator.
2 options :
1. I can build a shield around the fans
2. I just install.a SPAL fan.

Keep u posted

Always projects for winter..
Flyhalf.. you should have bought an FP350 LOL..

Full brake rebuild, install FTBR diff cooler, swap Steeda functional spoiler to APR GT250 wing.

@Flyhalf - I see you have the GT250, any recommendations for initial settings.?
