@MCS will you put PPF over the stripes? That's my preference.
I also covered all the top surfaces of my car, protecting the stripes and where most of the crud falls. Sides are uncovered, except for front bumper.

@GTP As long as there are no air pockets over the stripes then yes; the entire hood, bumper, fenders and A-pillars will be PPFd. The salesperson is looking into that now to see if that will cause problems or if they have to cut the first layer to level the stripes and then the second layer over it all.

My advice after experience with 2 Mustangs is to skip the fenders and instead put that money into full roof and trunk coverage. This will protect the stripes and allow you to "scrub" whatever settles on top of your car.

You can reduce the thin air channel formed at the edges of the stripes by rubbing your credit card edge along them several times during the first 24 hours. IOW you are helping out the adhesive while it cures.

That will be up to the installer then as they are doing it for me but I will be sure to note that.

Something I have been considering...how much harder to close the lid with the Steeda pop kit?
I ended up selling mine. I purchased the large wing pop kit but it was way too strong for my liking. Mind you I have a MMD duckbill wing which I wouldn’t call small. I went back to stock but I am considering using the small wing pop kit to see if it helps with ease of closing.

I installed some mods last week. I decided to replace my Ford Performance X springs for Steeda ultralite springs paired with Ford Performance FR3 shocks, Steeda IRS bushings and alignment kit. Personally I couldn’t stand the uneven drop of the FP X springs. I decided to get something a bit more stiffer and stayed linear. All I can say is wow! The more I drive it the more I love it. I definitely was expecting more of a stiff ride but it’s the perfect balance for a DD

Brought my pony to our first ever HPDE event.

Forecast for a hot day so I'm no dummy and picked the spot closest to this oak tree and it's beautiful shade.

To be honest I was worried about the base GT brakes as well as stock alignment and the risks are real. I used the knowledge from reading this forum to keep things in check and given the chance to open things up my instructor would giggle every time we hit this rise before the stop/start line and caught air!

No more horse with no name. Say hello to my little doll, with props to favorite author John D. MacDonald and Travis McGee.

Went to the Grocery Store and she made a new friend.

This is at the back of the lot. Like a HUGE lot. Away from all the peasants.

Away from the peasants... haha.
I see a shopping cart encroaching on your safety buffer.

I noticed when I came out as well. That was the universe's way of reminding me that they can still get to me even at the back of the lot. If that one would have rolled the angle would have taken it away from my car if it was forward or somewhere else in front of my car if it was backwards. I was safe.
