Nice. We were there last August for a few nights. Unfortunately a lot of places were closed. Great tour of the battlefields though which was worth the trip. Check out the Gettysburg Museum. They have Maj Duck Winters display.

I had to look him up. That's the Band of Brothers guy. Interesting bio. Thanks for the history lesson nudge.

Band of brothers was an awesome series. I recently finished reading Dick Winters book….Hang Tough. These were the greatest generation!

Installed the Craig's license plate bracket. It's a quality product. Thanks @Bobn57, @tomservo92, @Mach VII for your inputs. Turns out it's the same kit for all the GT, Mach and EcoBoost cars, even though they ask you to choose. The GT350 mounting bracket is different however.

I've thought about yanking it off but I just can't justify it. Doing that would mean I literally spent $600 for one emblem, I'll live with the accent line for now lol. That emblem on a smooth panel would be awesome though. I'll probably end up doing it one day, after I feel like I got my money's worth out of the panel.
It's definitely "the principle of it" thing with me. It's bad enough that any of the emblems probably cost Ford $10 to make. But even if $600 isn't much money, my brain says no to paying 60 time more. Would be the same for a stick of gum that cost 3 cents to make. Wouldn't pay $1.80 for it on principle no matter how much exercise my jaw muscles needed.

The main problem is the unavailability of just the emblem. The entire Pony panel price is also gouging compared to a GT panel but only ~2x. Problem with that the rest of the panel would be a downgrade from what I have. Minor from new appearance (slightly prefer my smooth) and maybe major down the road because many say the 2018+ panels scratch even easier than the pre '18s.

I've contacted custom badge makers but none were interested between copywrites, getting curvature and measurements right. Hell, I'd pay them more than the cost of a $600 panel from Ford because at least that would be at most a 2x markup for a custom part. [/rant]

I'm in Bergen County. Was driving w FL plates on my truck and Stangs for a while. Would often get asked were my plate was by cops who would approach from the front at intersections until they saw it was FL on the rear and then left me alone. I think it's a Bergen County thing. But I don't even want a second look.

MTN - phone mount (400x).gif

Not today, but made a custom wireless charger phone mount - total game changer! =D

Ran a thin micro-USB cable through the dash to the center console outlet. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

Cost was about $10 for materials, plus the cost of the charger (iOttie iTap2, was $16 on Amazon Warehouse).

I can do a write-up for this eventually, just dragging my feet.. lol

Installed my Injen CAI and MBRP cat-back exhaust. Did both in around 2 hours so not too bad. Could have been faster if I used air tools or battery tools lol.

Check out YouTube channel History Underground, the guy that owns the Gettysburg Museum does a lot of videos on there and they show a lot of stuff from actual Easy Co.

yep...one of my favorite channels. Great episode 100 on Currahee where Easy Company trained. JD was recently in ukraine a few weeks ago with his son volunteering. He's a great story teller and keeping this history alive.

I'm putting mine in soon. I didn't realize until recently that the airbox does not have removable top. I guess we have to disconnect and remove the tube at both ends to get the filter out. ?

Oh yea, I have been watching WW2 in Real Time by Time Ghost army and found JD. I’ve watched all his posts. Does a great job of feeling the story, finding the facts.

Yeah, it will be a little bit extra but luckily the tube isn't bad to get on and off so should just be a minor inconvenience.

^^^ LoL, Ok grumpy I see. I've seen some V6 Mustangs with the colored tribars, but maybe they painted them or changed the emblem. Also, don't the S197 Mustang V6 have the colored tribars?
The S197 V6's DID have painted tribars :)
