Opening cruise for our local Mustang chapter. Was only around 40 degrees, but I still had fun. The summer tires still did really well and didn't feel squirrely or anything. Also met up with my car twin for some pictures! Now it's supposed to be cold and snowy this week, so back in hibernation it goes, lmao.

The 3m tape that comes on the rtr gurney flap was too thick and was separating from the spoiler itself out of the box. I heat gunned the tape down but looked at it this morning and it was separating.
Bought a thinner 3m tape took the spoiler completely off and reinstalled the spoiler with the new tape and with the adhesion promoter that was provided by rtr, however my thumbs and finger tips have raw skin and ache now.

Also the adhesion promotor is a pain in the ass to remove from the stock spoiler where the rtr gurney flap does not sit. The price to pay when you don’t want to drill into the oem spoiler.

But…totally satisfied with the re-install.

Technically this was yesterday. But the car club did an 80 mile twisty, hilly rural route. Lots of beautiful cars, but he 21 antimatter blue GT has got to be the prettiest and I am not just saying that cause its mine :) If not, it at least sounded the best.

I went to visit a close friend that suffered a stroke a few months ago. He wanted me to bring my mustang and take him for a ride up the local mountains. So I did. I also arranged a little parking lot H.P. drive with some cones ( Yes I did get permission) I slapped a helmet on his head and harnessed him in. Then I took him for, as he put it, the best ride of his life. It was a great day. Here is the onl

Not the biggest of things but, I decided to find a trunk lid without a spoiler. Got lucky and found a good one off another comp orange car that had been wrecked. I’m not a huge fan of the factory spoiler or the any aftermarket ones that mount to the top of the lid so, it will stay like this for now.

Why do you suppose they call them spoilers?

Drove it out of (factory) warranty yesterday afternoon, 26 months in. :frown:

Averaging 16k miles/yr and I don't even commute that far. This car's a hoot tho!
Think it's time for the winter tires to come off (don't judge me, we had a snowstorm the day before this picture).

that's just the non-drivetrain warranty which is not particularly important. Rust, missing body panels, electronics that don't work, you still have a car. No engine/trans you only have scrap.
