My wheels showed up today..... WHOOHOO.
And my final bargain basement tire.
Still waiting on TPMS sensors and my two sets of lugnuts.
Didn't know if I needed the long or the short, turns out the short ones will be perfect, ordered both just incase.
Wheels were lighter than I expected, and that box gave me pause. But Forgestar packed em right and the wheel was fine.

And my front two tires are only 25 pounds each. Goodyear something's. Some summer tire in 265/40/19.
Took the shipping labels off today, and realized both were brand new, just had damaged labels.......I'll live with the damaged peel off labels for the $600 savings!
Cat room is starting to look like a used tire shop...... 🤷🏼‍♂️
That's what you get when you buy a house with no garage.

Funny I did the same thing. I almost picked up the raptor too but when I saw the new batmobile I had to pull the trigger on that. I figured it would be a nice little project for the kids and I.

It'll also would go well with the ZR1, Ferrari and my other lego mustang in the garage.

Finally got my tires/wheels installed...canceled the last 2 appointments due to cold and snow; I couldn't put it off any more even though it was wet and light snow this AM. Now it needs a good detail. Just a bit of poke out of both the front and back, no rubbing with full lock on steering. SVE SP2's 10/11X19's Fronts are Goodyear F1 Supercar 3's in 285/25/19 and rears are Nitto 555RII in 305/25/19.

Why not the same brand of tyre on each corner?

Probably because 305/35/19 is an oddball size that many manufacturers don't service. I'm pretty sure he meant a 35 instead of 25.
Yep---both are 35 series, it was late and I was sleepy :):)

It really was. Saw it at the last second and hit it doing 80+. Fucked up the front wheel, knocked the alignment out and put a bubble in the sidewall of the rear.

Hit a dip in the road doing 60, thankfully I had slowed down from 80, full extension of the suspension and a little bounce, thankfully it wasn’t a pothole

Why not the same brand of tyre on each corner?
The Nitto's were purpose purchased as a drag radial for the rear, initial intention was to keep the OEM PP1 wheel on the front with the Nitto on the rear, went back and forth several times on what wheels to purchase, and what stagger to do, and when the SP2 wheels came back in stock I had to get new fronts to fit the 10" wheel...I looked at the Nitto G series but since the car isn't going to be track car due to the DRs, it left me open to other options. Couple of deciding factors on Goodyear's were they ranked very well for track use (which I won't be doing, but its nice to know they are good if you need them) and the bottom line was price, I have a buddy who works for Goodyear corporate, and with the discount coupon he gave me, these were about $250 less out the door than the Nitto G's and were rated higher. If Goodyear would have made a DR tire, I would gone with them at all 4 corners.

Just screwing around on a cheap license plate bracket site. I may make a couple more for fun.

MP Concepts smoked tail light covers & Anchor Room rear marker tint. I didn't like how bright the stock red was, but didn't want it totally black. I like how much more subdued this looks now.
