Right, I realize inertia is a thing and that weight would need to come to an abrupt stop somewhere. I guess I thought that the seat latches and the anchor points mount to the same sheetmetal, so I was hoping the latch would be as strong, but that's probably not the case.

I also realized I got the AA spare, so probably good 50lbs over stock in there already. Maybe I ought to take the sand out, consensus seems to be just to trust the winter tires.
An experiment? Go sliding that ass-end around like a cheap hoo........

Ripped around north Marin and south Sonoma counties this morning. Car ran great in the brisk air and I been trying to wipe the stupid grin off my face ever since.:)

What cleaner/brand did you used to clean the engine bay?
Chemical Guys Waterless. Brand new so not really dirty just cleaning up some water spots and dust.

Sure! I’m in Indiana and the total for the XPEL was $2475 out the door.
I'm in Rhode Island and for the same work with Xpel I was quoted about the same price. It did include full ceramic coat.

That came out good. Old school look. You did it yourself? I started experimenting with wrap last year. It's a great product to keep your car changing and fresh or different. I just wrapped a PP1 nickel luster wheel last night but it was a pain in the @$$. I pealed it off today. Too many overlaps. But it was fun to see the look. Took about 3hours. No way I was going to do 3 more.

Why warp it period. One of the better looking Mustang factory IMHO. Yes my car had them, sold e'm. Replaced with CF5 in silver.

Boredom. Cold winter and trying to stay busy and not get into trouble. Had the wrap laying around and wanted to see how good compared to the CFTP wheels I could make them look. Turns out,
not even close. But Idle hands makes the devil's work and I'm motivated.

But yea, you're right. I appreciated them even more after I took the wrap off. They really pop on a black car. I took them off my white conv... they didn't stand out on the oxford as well.

Yeah, it wasn’t very difficult, just tedious. Heat gun is crucial, without it it wouldn’t have happened…

wheel looks good but super time consuming

I did a lot of first(s) with the car today.

1. Had the MGW shifter installed.......great difference.
2. Drove it for 2 hours straight in rain.
3. Parked it outside overnight for the first time.
4. Drove it in Normal mode for over 4 hours.
5. Put 400 miles on it in 4 days.
