Been here for 44 years.
Hah, it was winter 78-79. Memorable events included getting the Russian flu and going to Vacaville H.S. before going into the Navy.

Decided to paint the calipers white and put a Ford performance decal on it. Overall very happy with the outcome.
WOW. What do dem kids say these days, "that shit's fire?"
For real, that looks AMAZING. :handsinair:

People have some real skills tastefully modding. And as a millennial that grew up with the 2000s Subaru Impreza rallye domination in Europe, I LOOOOOOVE me some nice gold rims.:rockon:

I managed to curb a rear wheel. Good thing I already have a bottle of gloss black paint from Velgen to touch up. I've touched up a front wheel and while not perfect, does mask the ugly curbing results.

I FINALLY got around to hand-washing it. It was dirty enough for me to do 2 rounds, but also I'm on well water and outside hose doesn't get filtered/softened. Might need to get one of those separate car washing filters.

Followed up with Sonax Ceramic Ultra Slick Detailer (place that did my Xpel film recommended it) and it finally looks the way it should. Or rather did. One day later in the dusty late summer of OH it's already caked with dust...

You thinking it cannot be done ?
Oh I'm sure something can be done. There's a difference between 'curbing' (light scrathes) and 'curbing' where it's gouged and missing chunks. I define 'curbing' as the later.

I tend to curb wheels where it's gauged and missing little chunks :) not these wheels tho, my previous ones.
