I put gloss black Air Design hood vents on about a month ago to compliment the Black Accent package and I didn't like them....I thought they looked too big compared to the OEMs so I put the OEM's back on.

Are those two tone cloth seats? I didn't even know that was a possible option on these cars.
yup. I like the idea, just not putting the ceramic on the main seating surface. It's gets dirty way too easily.

I'm going to harass the motoring public by driving the speed limit in the right lane.

I pulled an @EmCel today yesterday, to do something FOR my mustang, not TO it - well just yet.
Drove ~200 miles to Irwin PA (4.5hrs) on superslab to pick up an orange hood from a M6G'er. Then met another M6G'er who lives just a few minutes away just to put face to forum handle and shake hands - and distract him away from domestic duties for a few short minutes...

Then I drove 300 miles back home over the curviest 2-lane I could find in my F150. Happened to see a POI on my GPS that said Frank Llyod Wright designed house, went up the side of the mountain, paid the $9 to step foot on the grounds, and came away very unimpressed. Kentuck Knob was it's name. Now the VIEW 200 steps thru the trees, now THAT was lovely and worth the price of admission, but can't be seen from the house itself. WTH? Is ol' Frank any good at his job? Or since he designs screwball shapes, other people see it and chalk it up to greatness when in reality he is just an idiot? In the same way Picasso and Van Gogh can't draw for crap, but are "acclaimed" by the intelligencia?

A few other contributions to the scenery.
open-air rock fort - take off armor to squeeze in or swing over 6' high wall.

30ft high Roman Onager left behind from the last campaign in Penn's Wood- needs a few parts, and a team of slaves to assemble.

A modest view of slow-growing corn. On both sides of the ribbon of pavement you see below were young maples planted at precise intervals and of uniform size.

On the only straight section of US50 30 miles west of Romney WV the entire rescue squad turned out to drag a car out of the creek 20 ft off the road and 10ft down.

I stopped by a road-side 'convenience store' which was incredibly badly stocked in food-stuffs, but had $30,000 worth of inventory in bows, cross-bows, arrows, modern rifles and shotguns in the back third of the store. Every vehicle that pulled up for the 20 minutes that I ate a questionable roast beef hoagie wrapped in saran wrap was either missing bodywork, emissions device, or matching tires, but worse was the utter disregard for wash and wax.

A bit north of McHenry MD I picked up some road-side corn and heirloom tomato.

Nothing special today…..just filled her up, went for a short ride and gave her a bath. First sunny day pic.

Wheels are a pain to keep clean. I’ll have to coat them with something. I wash and rinse them before washing the rest of the car. By the time I finish drying the body and get to the wheels, they’re water spotted.

Pulled my Roush tips off and gave them a good polish. Bought a Mothers Power Cone and it made short work of it. Came out pretty well I think

How bad were they before. I’m thinking I’m going to be doing the same to mine soon but mine are pretty bad considering I rarely wash them due to the fact that I don’t want to get my wash mitt dirty and constantly telling myself I’ll get to them at the end.

Not too bad, they were hazy but still had an ok shine. I kept them fairly clean.

I had tried doing it by hand recently but I could never get a good shine on them. The power cone really helps. You wont get a mirror finish, I think that requires a lot more than just polishing, but it looks better than new
