Went to the Mustang owners museum. I have been wanting to go since they opened. It’s not huge but have some nice Mustangs. Worth the drive from the Raleigh area
Any pics of a Boss 429?

Did a 100 mile cruise with 16 Mustang brothers and sisters in Charlotte today. Started at the Mustang Owners Museum, when to Holman Moody, the old Ford Model T plant in Charlotte. Our last stop was this wild place named Miles & Carol Little. It was a farm for old gas station parts, signs and pumps. Words cannot do it justice.

Just a few pics for today. Heading back to the Museum for a BBQ.

I’m guessing you didn’t know about today’s cruise. Maybe next time. 👍

I had the pleasure of arranging to get a new windshield. Truck in the far right lane of a 4 lane stretch dropped a bunch of dirt and stuff when it hit a dip. I was in the far left lane and though, "I'm glad I wasn't behind him when that happened". And then saw the big rock coming toward my windshield

I thought it hit high and lifted the sun visor to check, seeing nothing I felt relieved. Then put the visor back down and caught the glint on the lower left corner. Big star break impact and cracks starting up and going across the windshield. The one going across was about a foot and half long by the time I got to the office.

I haven't even had the new Mustang a month yet.
I'll take that over it hitting the paint. Still sux though.

Had a similar experience with a tree branch that homed in on the top edge of the windscreen in my early days of ownership. As easy as insurance made replacement of screen and quality of the job, I still felt violated for my car.

Trip had to end finally, here's the tally. A hair over 2000 miles and averaging just over 24.5MPG overall, which is impressive given that I must have climbed every mountain in the whole Sierra range, lmao. And my exhaust shipped today finally!

That is at 3/4 tank. I wouldn't even see that at full.
I saw even less, on a full tank!
That's 128 Miles to empty for those in the northern hemisphere......

By the way, do you have a trusted trick for the windshield? I even bought the Invisible Glass little plastic reach tool, but still cant' get it 100% clean and see streaks when windshield is foggy. Maybe mine was that nasty?
I made this post a few weeks ago regarding glass cleaning -

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/angelwax-vision-the-sledgehammer-of-glass-cleaners.162193/

In that case I was using a rather specific product, but the concept is the same for any glass cleaning product.

Another tip, if you still have streaking after the first attempt, grab another set of towels to avoid re-introducing the grime back onto the glass and repeat the process.

Also, waffle weave microfibre towels are the best for glass cleaning, helping to minimize streaking.

Congrats! It does sound great with the Switchfire alone too. Coincidentally, I have CJ Pony Parts' exhaust page open, trying to decide between the S type or the FPbyBorla Sport.

With the active exhaust I had only 2 options really, Corsa or Borla. The Corsa is cool just the raspy sounds gets in my brain after a while

I went Corsa AE after hearing ti matched with their double H-pipe as I didn't care for the raspiness of it with X-pipe...
