I stopped. Deleted iPhone/all phones out of the car settings, turned phone and car off and repaired carplay.

working now. But weird as hell that happened.I won’t update from 3.0 there isn’t a further update but if it did get updated to3.4 it would remove the ford performanceford gt themes. Which is so much nicer on the eyes imo

I did a minor mod to the steering wheel (white pony) to match the shifter knob and white leather stitching. Also added some carbon fiber vinyl to cover the bland oem bezels.

I decided to remove the red front and rear pin stripes from the splitter and the rear valance. I'm keeping the red in the interior though.

Ditched the ugly and ridiculously narrow stock base wheels for some new meats

American Racing AR924 20x9 +35 with 275/35/20 Firestone Indy 500s and 20x10.5 +45 with 305/35/20
I just threw them on and took a test drive so please excuse them not being cleaned up.

Now I have to decide if I want to lower it at all, maybe just the front? and what color to paint the calipers. Red is a possibility but I'm leaning towards blue

Upgraded Sync to version 3.4. Rather than have the car sit idling in the parking lot while the system updated, I decided to drive home. Since it's an hour drive, that gave the system enough time to update.

The update took about 25 minutes, but I was required to park the car and engage the Emergency brake for Android Auto to connect. Rather than stop at some random place, I drove to a gas station near home, refueled, then configured Android Auto.

The process was very seamless for me.

Hi Voodoo. I recently installed the older style White Madness shifter like yours. I was a little concerned that mine has a slight amount of side to side play in the ball which I didn't see the need for. Is this the same for yours or could mine be faulty.

Hold up... right hand drive but the hood release is on the passenger side for you????

Changed the FOB batteries for the first time because of an alert, and all I can say is, it sure seems like an awkward. chintzy, snap together design.

Swapped out my flaky wireless charger for a printed dock from Etsy (Joleobees). Awesome design if a little too flexible at the base. I liked the wireless better but found myself not using it and missed the option of CarPlay (tough to get to the plug and wouldn’t sit right anywhere while connected).

I haven't opened up a fob for this car yet, but I already know that they are much better quality than the ones that came on my Lexus 17 years ago. Incredibly well built and thought out vehicle; then they handed the key/fob design to the interns. I've been adding another layer of super glue to main case nearly every year for the last 11 years. Keeping the fob part in the case takes a large blob of hot glue, then then another blob on the back side to attach the other side of the case.

The best overall vehicle I've owned. The worst key/fob I've ever seen.

I have the same one (DJI). Hoping to get some good rolling shots with it. My older son is pretty dang good drine pilot.
