Looking good!Washed the car today and put tire shine on my new wheels I got installed yesterday. Took some photos that show the poke from the front and rear.
Don't worry, I took the green stickers off.
Once again for clarity these went on without any extra parts like camber plates and they didn't require any finagling so that they wouldn't rub. I fully locked them both directions while moving and they were fine.
I think next in order is a tune and after that some suspension parts. Still not going to the track any time soon but it'll happen eventually.
I didn’t. I had something saved but forgot about it until just now. I’ll look into this, buy some, and put it on. Thanks!Looking good!
Did you put any protection on them? Being new, getting something on them now before they accumulate a build up of contamination would be good idea.
I'm planning on Ceramic coating mine before I put them on the car -

I have also used this in the past, a more traditional wax type product -

I also like the spray & rinse type sealants as they have the ability to coat and protect the wheel face and barrel with minimal effort. I apply something like this every few months -

Man those look fantastic!Got my VS08 Forged wheels installed over the weekend. I love these things!
What PPF was installed and how much of the front?Picked up my car from the detailer. Did paint correction, PPF on the front, and ceramic coating the whole car (Gtechniq Ultra).
Looks badass! Really brought out the fleck in the paint
Durashield TitanXT - from the hood vents down (with a bit on the front fenders and they did the front of the mirrors). Cost $600.What PPF was installed and how much of the front?
I bought one of these today because of this post. My car came with water spots and I did a paint correction routine on it to try to remove them. I stayed to the side of caution as it was my first attempt at it and its much better but I can still see them. Going to give it another go this year but don't want to be adding to the problem in the meantime. I probably shouldn't care so much as it's my daily but I enjoy it, so why not.We have crazy hard water here too (and I have two black SUVs and a grey mustang).
I finally got fed up with the water spots and got this deionizer: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H8MQTMD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
To test it I took the older SUV and washed it - then I rinsed thoroughly with the dionized water - AND DID NOT DRY IT. And… there was not a single water spot on it. I can’t recommend this enough!
Note that you can only really use it to rinse - you have to keep the flow through it pretty low so that it stays effective.
Glad I could help - report back withhow it goes!I bought one of these today because of this post. My car came with water spots and I did a paint correction routine on it to try to remove them.
