There is a guy here in town that has a C8 Vette in that color also. Yikes on the finger.

I had an issue with my long term trim being like 10-15% I found my downpipe bolt was a bit unaligned I just loosened retughtened them and it appears to have fixed, now they are 4% and trimming faster.

I also didn’t wait long enough to try to mess with them, touched finger and felt like the damn finger got stuck felt like ate it off. Massive blister. Darnit

went to Sam’s club just now and saw a slick ass corvette.

Sounds like an idea date :)

I washed the car and vacuumed it out to get it ready for a date. She hadn't seen the car yet so I was nervous about her reaction to it (you never know with people these days). We went for a rip up the canyons and she loved the car and loved ripping the canyons. We made a couple stops and every time we were walking back she kept saying how gorgeous the car looked. I love it when people connect with the car, it takes on a life of it's own.

Very nice. I've never been lucky enough to catch them testing the new Z06 when I'm in Colorado.

I went to the local Murphy station which was torn down last year and rebuilt from the ground up. Much cleaner and more open space since the rebuild. They now offer 93 EtOH free premium at every pump of which is 50 cents per gallon cheaper than the Phillips 66 station for the same grade of EtOH free premium. I filled up and grabbed a Major Melon Zero. Installed the Ford Performance Carbon Fiber shift knob for a more subtle look compared to the original cue ball and called it a day.

Jack Roush must have used the Way Back Machine....

This is the genuine Jack Roush:

You must be referring to Jack’s son, Jack Roush, Junior.

Do you think it’s o2 sensor? Is it normal for +10

I reset kam. Now it’s adding 10% to stft. Doesn’t that seem too high for idle?

After a few mins 12% ltft

For future reference, you want to look at total trim for each bank which is Short term + long term. So if you reset the memory and the short term is at 10% but the long term is at 0, the long term will eventually go to 10% and the short term will go back to 0. Anything +/- 5% for total trim is in spec.

Exhaust leaks will cause lean trims, so always the first thing to check when you do exhaust related work.

ha yeah. This was like 10-13% LTFT and 5-8% stft both positive. It would get lower under load.

now it’s basically 0. The trims are almost 99% balancing eachother out under idle and load.
Being torqued more on one side just must of let a hair of air come in on other side/

I installed it from below, so didn’t see the clamps from above like tonight when I noticed. I wonder if Itl feel stronger once she’s fully relearned: I reset kamafter the correction

Finished blacking out the emblems. Took me about 3 h (6 thin layers of PlastiDip). Still waiting for the black license plates.

Next step will be the GT350 lowering springs and the spacers (20 mm in the back and 25 mm in the front). I have a MagneRide car, so I can't use bolt on spacers. Will probably get the extended studs and the slip on spacers from Optimum Performance. Still trying to figure out if I can just replace the studs without major problem (will probably go to the shop to do so)

Before the clamps I was getting 10-15% long term trim. Stupid readings. My car is warming up at moment but yeah. Very happy

Now I’m spot on. Car does seem to be running way better after re adjusting the downpipe clamp yesterday.
Same conditions idle in driveway etc same fuel temp is changed by like 6*

crazy how a little air from a not perfectly straight clamp can do

much different

Hi, we have the same car and would like to know we can’t use bolt on spacers?? I have an inch spacer in the front because of the Brembo brakes and magnaride??

Got the wheel studs on one side installed. Ran into a few issues I'll write up later in my build thread. It's a bit more poke than hoped, but I am still stock ride height so hopefully I won't run into any rubbing ossues. There's some room on the inside for a bit of camber from camber bolts, but not much. I'll have better pics later.

you want to get camber plates instead. Measure how much clearance you have between tire and MR strut. You should be able to run 20mm thick spacers instead of 25. 4-5mm gap is plenty.
