Ripped the stock base exhaust out and getting ready to swap in an OEM active setup with a Magnaflow Tru-X.

Update: it’s in and it sounds FANTASTIC. Just a bit louder than stock with the valves open but so much smoother and deeper sounding. All the raspiness is gone and no drone while cruising. Just a nice beefy growl. I like the sound so much in “track mode” and it isn’t crazy loud that I’d really need quiet mode during normal hours. (It will be nice when I leave early for work though and don’t want to wake the kids.)

Did the Saturday morning therapy wash.

As I was cleaning the windshield, my towel hit a fly. Smeared it all over the towel.

And this why my wife rolls her eyes evry time I wash the car.

We're good to go for another trip to Topeka for Track Night on Thursday

Now, off on a semi virtual scavenger hunt, and a trip to the pumpkin patch.
Your car looks great. Is it lowered? I love the look of the under hood pony and the rims.

Thanks. No, it's not lowered. Yet. In the hopefully near future though.

And the silver/blue combo looks great!

Installed some cheap Amazon paddle shifters extensions. Not bad, not great, but can't complain for $20. Will likely keep them on.

Finally got my parts on...

New wheels. 19x10 up front (295s), 19x11 out back (305s), thanks to SJ-KY. Did the math on the wheel swap (using a cheap scale), saved 14lbs up front, 18lbs out back. Also did FRPP PP2.

Please can you show me that from a few different angles ? I’m tempted and would like to see that style in black on lime :sunglasses:

That's a great thread on the progression of your car. Nicely done!
Do you happen to have links to those ebay parts for the pull-down?
Just posted a parts list and a bit of info on my build thread (end of post #113) :like:

Removed the chrome horse emblem off the trunklid and replaced it with a black one. From far away it looks like it has no emblem, blends in perfectly.

Detailed the car and swapped the track wheels/tires in an attempt to get ready for an Auto-X and possibly a trip down to Fontana to coach an SCCA event. Who knows it might just sit. #2020happens

Fender emblems changed out. Now to figure out the easiest way to swap in a black pony emblem on the grill.

Getting custom GT 5.0 badges made for the fender/rear decklid in the Shelby font. They're getting painted gloss black. (Will post updates)
