installed the tail light covers i bought off ebay. i got them to refund me half because they came in with a bunch of scratches and scuffing and other imperfections on them. ended up getting almost all of it cleaned up with 3M plastic and lens cleaner. that stuff is magic

I have no need to convince you (I charge around $450 an hour for convincing). :) It fluttered before the struts and now it doesn't. If you don't like a product or wouldn't buy it, why would you make it a big deal? I have never said anyone should buy this or that and would never argue the point either way, as I don't stand to get anything from it. Lots of people have hood struts, trunk struts, you name it, and lots have completely stock cars and there is nothing wrong with either in my book.

Ok I'll bite, convince me how a lift assist stops, LMAO"hood flutter" when the hood latch was not changed ?

I get some hood flutter @ a buck 50, @ 200 down force takes over holding it in place.

Actually don't care, but it's getting fun reading these stories. Curing severed fingers and hood flutter top two so far.

Any chance you could get a few more pics of the spoiler? That is the GT500 one correct?

it did not come with hardware. i bought threaded studs and nuts on amazon in the correct sizes and also used 3m body molding tape and it mounted right up to my existing holes

Installed the CM Components S550 Mustang Rear Seat Delete (2015-2020)
How is the fit and finish? Looking at pictures, it doesn't look like it fits into the space that well. Some of the other seat delete kits are pricier, but seem to look like they fit the contours of the space better, and have the look of the seats actually not coming in the car from the factory, as opposed to a couple sheets of plywood that were covered in carpet.

Hahaha, seriously though, congrats. I was floored when I went from my '16 to my '19, both were PP cars, both convertibles, but the '19 with the Gen 3 motor + the A10 (my '16 as you could figure, was a manual ...), is just crazy.
WOW does the 10 speed feel so much faster. I didn't think there would be such a big difference. The magneride is also great and I really like the upgraded materials in the interior.

Thanks! I'm torn between that one and a CF Track Pack one. If I go with the CF one, I'll have to change out my exhaust tips for some CF ones. And I'll have to send back my FP shift know for the CF one.....:cwl:

Earlier this week, I added FTR splitter rods to my ZL1 Addons splitter. They are mounted to the crash bar. Getting ready for Trackcross this weekend

Hahaha, I know, at first it's a WTF moment ("Is this the right kit?"). A couple of things though:

These have to reach from the fender liner to the frame, and there's a big space, in fact, it's about 3-4"

You make a solid stand-off using those black plastic spacers, so they actually only screw into the car about 1/2" or so (they could've supplied screws that were only threaded on the first 1", but those are probably impossible to source vs. a regular screw like they supply).

Great product, I've had mine installed for close to a year, still tight, still look new.

Would those FTR splitter rods fit on a 2015 PP with a stock splitter? I really like the looks of them. I apologize up front as they would be for aesthetics only for me.

They sure would. They do custom lengths and they show you how it’s measured. Top quality rods for sure
