What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Managed to wrestle out all the diffuser clips into the bumper cover with a couple panel tools wrapped in electrical tape.

Transferred the six speed clips, two reflectors and reverse light over to the Trufiber diffuser.

Popped the body clips in but will need to tackle the ten 7mm screws and four push pins next visit to the garage.

Had a local shop install PPF on the front bumper and entire front hood. The edges were wrapped around the panels making the film almost unnoticeable.

How many bags of mulch fit in the trunk of a Mustang? Five. Why? Because when the choice is between Mustang and wife's Explorer (a fantastic SUV) for a trip to Home Depot/Lowes, Mustang wins (if the weather is nice). Underneath is the Ford trunk liner doing its job.

Recently purchased a Raceseng Contour shift knob. Added weight was causing very loud rattle from my Barton flat stick above 6k RPMs due to the trans mount. Took a couple hours this morning and swapped the Barton to a body mount. No more rattle above 6k. Now to get her cleaned up for the first Cars and Coffee tomorrow.

I picked it up from QuickJacks directly as an open box item. Full warranty and was under $1k

Went for a cruise to a country restaurant to discover it was closed due to Covid-19.

Got the rear tires and had them mounted finally. The Indy 500s are quieter than the Michelin’s. Can’t really tell a difference between the two other than noise. That’s not to say the pilots were loud. They weren’t. Just over differing pavement they are quiet.
