Swapped out the OEM transmission fluid with Royal Purple Sybchromax. It took a little bit of driving around to notice a difference, but the RP is better than the stock fluid. Not a huge difference, but the shifts are smoother with less notchiness.

If you're thinking about changing out the OEM fluid, go for it.:cheers:

Took my S550 to beach for some sun today.

Installed my Boomba Racing short throw shifter. I used the puller from Boomba -- the videos call for an 18mm, but you actually need a 3/4" deep socket (at least with what they sent me). The most difficult part of the install to me was getting the zip tie around the modified boot, and getting the boot into position properly. I took it for a spin after I was done -- I'm totally satisfied! The install of this lever is totally from inside the car, and the throws are so short, and the hand position is just right. I can hardly wait to get my Anarchy Motive knob here...

Today I hit a hole on I95 in a construction zone. Rear driver side rear got all chewed up. The jolt was so hard the windshield cracked and I have a nice size chip in the paint on the hood. Not sure why but I bought the wheel and tire insurance but glad i did. It was 300 nucks and Fird wants 1200 for a new one. They have to fix or replace. I told Safelite I only want OEM glass so we'll see how long that takes.
