I installed my first two "mods" on the GT.

- SR Performance clutch assist spring

Seems worth $20, it makes modulating the clutch a little easier.

- Ford Performance hood struts

I still don't understand why my 2016 GTI came stock with a hood strut, but Ford didn't put them on the Mustang.

Damn that sucks but I'm sure you'll have her back up and running in no time.

Just a FYI, I used to have those same Carbon Fiber hood vents and they blew off my car doing ~130 or so. Since you increased the surface area of your grill it's probably just a matter of time until it happens to you. I would recommend some type of permanent solution or buying another set for when it does fly off.

When mine blew if flew like 20 feet in the air. Scared the $hit outta me lol

Covered in blankets and pillows so in case the door gets blown in, it will maybe minimize damage. Actually the wind will be coming from the other way, so I don’t think it will be a problem, but just in case…

I fixed the steeda powder coat prior to install.

Then noticed how cooked my cats were when I put it on the lift for the oil change and IRS install. New headers/cats should be in today.
