Most states require a doctor's note. I just did 80% ceramic on mine to avoid hassle but still get most of the benefit, works great.
If you wear polarized sunglasses (or similar) does it cause a weird color-haze effect on the windshield? Maybe it is with certain tints... obviously not a big deal since so many people do it.

I’ve noticed at certain angles inside the car there is some kind of almost rainbow effect. My sunglasses are polarized. It’s not enough to cause any issues, just kind of interesting.

I have 80% high quality tint on the windshield. Can't really tell a difference when looking at it, as the clarity is outstanding. I wear transition lens glasses and have no issues day or night. It cut down on the heat from the sun a lot.

One other reason I didn’t get 80% right off the bat is I have to have a parking permit fixed to the windshield (laying it on the dash doesn’t cut it) and it gets changed annually. My tint guy suggested not to put anything really sticky on the tint as it could pull the tint loose when I go to remove it. I might try to find a clear sleeve that I can use to just slide the permit in and out of, haven’t decided if if I want to go that route yet.
I don't know the term, but my dashcam had a "static sticker" it came with that stuck on the windshield and then you applied the adhesive to that instead. It's somewhat of a suctiony effect - could work for this too.

Yes, but you mostly get used to it and maybe it's a stronger effect with darker tints. I had 40% on my last car and might keep it around there when I get this one retinted.

That looks the goods. Does the pony cover the holes. Could be something I could do to replace the similar round GT badge our export cars got.
It does. All OEM mustang badges use the same hole/pin pattern.

Great. Thanks for that. I have a couple of different ponies stored away that I have a look at.

I’m so sorry to hear that. My Borla FP exhaust fit perfectly when I put it on in 2019. Maybe they changed the way they make it. I’ve never had any issues with mine. Hopefully they make good on it wherever you got it from.
That's a thought I had while under the car trying to figure out how to make it work. My car's a '15, the kit was manufactured on the 3rd of this month according to what was described on the Ford Performance box. I wonder if there were changes or revisions to dimensions of the subframe, and/or stock exhaust between the 15-17 and 18-23 facelift. There shouldn't be, but who knows. I'm loathe to do it but there's a muffler shop I suppose I could take it to and see if they can make it fit correctly. As with most of the modifications I've done to my car, I'd rather do it myself to save money.

I have heard about the faux gas caps actually falling off so the fixings mustn't be too strong. How did you get yours off?

I watched one of cj pony’s videos and followed their instructions. I removed the whole panel and cut off the heat staked ends of the locating pins.

I don't wear sunglasses, but I will say with normal vision, night time driving seems nicer. Less glare effect from oncoming cars and such.

Yeah I really need to get this done. Sounds like a must do, tbh.

A friend of mine who lives in the building called in a favor from a buddy of his so I’m getting the windshield replaced tonight with a Ford OEM for basically cost plus a little bit of cash to him for some labor. Works out great. No sense in wasting paying the deductible when it’s basically the same.
