Was driving home from work today and was almost home when I passed the local high school where the kids were walking on both sides of the streets on their way home. Had the radio blaring and enjoying some music and then BANG it happened. Somebody had to have thrown something at my car and it was a good throw hitting the windshield dead in the middle. I was barely moving at a stoplight when it happened so it didnā€™t fly off a truck or anything. I have my dash cam videos but I canā€™t see it happening in the video. Iā€™m shocked that I donā€™t have it on film because I know exactly where it happened and I found the spot. When I put the camera back in the car Iā€™m going to check the live view to see if itā€™s within view. But anyway hereā€™s some pics.

BMR goodies arrived, hopefully cb762 fixes my wheel hop. Went with basic parts that I can knock out in my apartment parking lot

Tried out my new Quickjack 7000TL for the first time. Love it. Had one fitting I had to take apart and retape due to a small leak. Pain in the ass because I then had to rebleed that entire line and Jack frame cylinder. Only question is the shortest possible distance for the rubber pads are 43ā€ apart. My jacking rails are only 35ā€ long. I put the front pad on the front most end of the jacking rail and had the rear pad on the pinch weld tight about where the rear sub frame connectors bolt up. Seemed to work out fine.

Without my cargo net groceries would be all over the place šŸ˜… šŸš—
i did below for my shopping in the boot/ trunk as i found the cargo net got in the way of putting bags in. Bungee cord that stretches across the underside of the trunk hinges. Loop it through the handles of the bags and no more playing find the shopping items when you get home

itā€™s the little things, I bought a fully loaded model so not much I want/need to change. I love how my black, blue, and subtle red accent theme is looking.

tell me more about this. Iā€™m not a fan of the amber lens in the light. Is there a clear lens and amber LED that cleans it up?

Tried unsuccessfully installing the Ford Performance exhaust. I guess it was poorly manufactured. One of the subframe exhaust hangers couldn't be bolted in. The mid pipe wasn't bent enough or something. Had everything else connected and gave it a short run while still up on the jack stands. Dammit the thing sounded good. The left side hung lower than the right, but both pipes seemed to lack clearance with two nubs on the lower half of the differential cover so they would end up rubbing and who knows what would happen then. :brokenheart::explode: Took the system off and reinstalled the stock one. $1300 down the drain and I'm sore as hell.

If you bend the brace on the exhaust (the portion that goes through the rubber on the car) you can make it work. I had a similar (much less severe) issue with my Ford Performance exhaust system. A little aggressive persuasion and it fits perfect now.

I put FP Touring exhaust on a few weekends ago and I'm still not 100% happy with it. I've had to loosen all the clamps and twist stuff around twice. I don't actually think there's any issue with the exhaust though. I think it will just take some patience because I'm doing it with ramps/jack-stands and can't get far enough away from it to see it all at once.
