Yup, we all have ticking time bombs (see what I did there 🤣)
Mine has since before I modded. I figure if it goes, it’s time for a build with boost. Dare to be great lmao

About a week ago traded the GT in on a Mach-E
GT-perf pack and active exhaust.

Figured some would be curious about comparisons.

Got a dual motor select.
performance not the same as the GT, but still lively
rear doesnt kick out on hard accel, and awd gets all the power to the ground. no tire spin.
power is instant, no lag, no noise, no clunk, and silky smooth
tires, driveline, and cabin are very quiet
so many included options in the base model (awd was an extra)
light steering, decent handling, however definitely more understeer in harder cornering.
brakes ... using one pedal drive, so they are hardly used. regenerative braking is strong
suspension is fine, however quite different from the GT

a departure in overall feel to the GT, but the light/free/quiet/silky drive feels awesome.
Really liking it, and not missing the GT too much.
Its a radical departure.

300Km of range cost $2.90 Cdn to charge (max is 386 so far), vs ~$120 for the GT and 610km range

Not pushing folks switch, but rather some insights for the curious.

Filled up with E85 for the first time in a few months. Holy crap I forgot how powerful the car is.

Drove it the 3 miles to the gym, but they have been repaving the road that gets me there, dam tar peebles and oil spray all over the place, was trying to stay clear of most it, lol.

Datalogged E75R tune from Juggernaut and car feels amazing. Can't stop flooring it, 1-2-3 gears pull like a freight train  Had to pull out the VP racing jugs after last night just to have enough gas to make it to work today

Was driving to work calmly on the highway and getting about 26 MPG. I got off the highway and got to my favorite light.

I swear I heard my car say "Oh shit, he's gonna send it", so I did. :sunglasses:

Had new tires installed and an alignment done back on 6/26, at a local shop that seems to do good work.

A rattle started in the front of the car....very weird. Figured something needed replacement in the front suspension. I bought the Ford Uber Platinum Titanium ESP with $0 deductible recently, so I took it to my local Ford dealership this past Monday.

They tell me it's $165.00 for diagnoses, which will be deducted if there's a warranty claim/repair.

Turns out the guy that aligned the car at the local shop hadn't tightened the jam-nut on the tie-rod end. So I have to pay $165.00 out of pock. The dealership asks if I want their $145.00 alignment, I tell them I'll take it back to the local shop.

The local shop got me in today, refunded me the $165.00 I paid the dealership, and re-aligned the car. They were very cool about the whole situation, very nice. I went ahead and scheduled to bring the car back in next Monday to have the brake fluid flushed & filled. Using Motul.

So.....a good experience???? Sort of????
