I’m not sure you can use the ford points for it, because it’s a ford performance part, not available through the ford accessories site. I could be wrong though. I remember when I was looking at a manual GT I wanted that one and the parts department said they couldn’t order it because it was Ford Performance. And I don’t see anywhere on the FP site to use the points. I could be completely wrong though and the dealer didn’t want to do the extra work. I’d be interested if the FP site uses points because there are a few things I wanna get from there.
I ordered it on line at Ford Performance and used Ford points … had it delivered to my local Ford dealer (which I drive by every day on my way to work) so no shipping costs

That’s awesome, I did not know you could do that. Thanks!

Oil change day - drained, filter swap started and then it started raining....

Level was right at lower hashmark after 5500 miles, not too shabby. Hood is ajar waiting final top off.

Changed the oil, washed it off, put it back in the carport.

Today I drove off in quiet mode, didn't even realize it (I don't have a hearing problem yet..). I liked it. For the first time it was actually a very pleasant drive, like zoom zoom. Same response and so enjoyable. Maybe I just needed a break.. :giggle:

I may get to this point myself....someday. For now I still pop it into Track mode for all of my driving. My face hurts after a bit from smiling but it's all part of it.

Went to Dominion raceway for a beginner track attack with a friend. Had an absolute blast best 100 bucks I've ever spent. Can't wait to go back after I get my E85 tune and FRPP lowering springs on. Was so fun I might skip boost and go full track rat who knows

Washed the Snek 🐍 She was absolutely filthy from cruises and track visits. Discovered more paint chips...but I couldn't care less 😊 She's driven and enjoyed 😎

I at least try to make her look flawless 😅

Finally found some time to paint brake calipers. This was probably the dumbest and the most time consuming method ever. It was far away from all those 20 minute videos about "how to paint calipers easy/fast". It took me two full days to accomplish the job with this result. I don't have a brake bleeder, so I couldn't remove the caliper from the car, which would be the best option. The most time consuming part was getting rid of brake dust baked over the years, degreasing and masking and then trying to turn the caliper while coping with the brake hose. Well to tell the truth, i spent two days doing single brake caliper :cwl: Enjoy the pictures.

As I had some time, it was a good time to clean the shims and apply new layer of brake pad lube

Figured out the battery's bad (forgot to connect the float charger). The last battery was from Costco $89. The same battery now is $109. Grrrr!

Always better to take as much time as you need to do a job right, than rush through it and muck it up. Time well spent to achieve excellent results. Good paint job on that!
