What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Painted my front brake calipers gloss black using G2, turned out pretty good and was a fairly easy job. I want to put a custom decal on them, but don't know what vinyl I should use due to the high temps.

Took it to Ford for an oil change... hope they don't damage anything... I've instructed them NOT to wash it. Just change the oil, flush the fuel system, check the alignment and give it back. (and make sure it gets the full 10 quarts that Ford didn't do when I bought it)

Aaaand I’ve just checked and surprise surprise it’s 2 quarts low. As it was when I bought it. Only done 6 miles before I had chance to check it. I asked them at the time if they knew it was supposed to have 10 and they said yes yes we know. We’ll clearly you don’t! Useless! Glad I checked! #RantOfTheDay

I had that happen all three free oil changes back when I first got my 18. I informed them each time and they said they were sorry and gave me an additional free oil change. I gave up on the third one and have never returned, except for warranty work, which they did wonderfully.

Back in '01 I got pulled over by a SC State Trooper in their pursuit Camaros doing 144 mph on my R6 at South of the Border. They've always had fast pursuit cars on I95, glad to see they went with a S550!

Getting the new crate engine ready to go in the car, just waiting on my clutch. The driver's side exhaust manifold is a combination with the cat welded to it. That's a PITA when putting the engine in so I chopped it, welded 3" flange on each side and welded studs on the car flange just like the factory RH side. Now, both cats can be reinstalled after the engine is in. It's not a masterpiece but it makes up flush and don't leak. Will run as long as I need it to.
