Guys have any advice on how to safely preload suspension bolts with the weight of the vehicle on the suspension with only jack stands, or would it be better to take it to a shop with a lift and have them do that part?

Is your car supercharged?
It's all stock expect for the x-pipe. I'm surprised this is happening but the service tech told me they've been seeing it a lot lately. I bought my car in Oct 2020 brand new and it just turned 19K miles...

Wow, that's terrible.
Probably a vendor that is working with crappy/cheap materials to make the catalytic convertors is my guess. Good luck.

Thanks man! I was finally feeling better about my car since the NAV and the Bluetooth, etc was finally working properly again...

They wanted to keep my car for 4 days just to diagnose it...and no loaner car. Sure, I'll just take a week off of work, no problem! Lol

They finally just pulled the codes which took like 3 minutes and then they told me they'll order the part. So I was a lot happier when I left than when I initially talked to them.

Fingers crossed...

You can put the wheels back on and just use your jack under the wheel to return the suspension to normal ride height, or you can get a set of ramps and drive onto them. There's a few ways you can be creative with it.
Back to the dealer today, check engine light is on, needs a new catalytic converter. Apparently this is a common issue? It just took me 3 months to get a new APIM and now 2 weeks later, this. 🙄
Well that's rather unfortunate. Yours is the first I've heard of.

Did they say what model years are seeing early cat failures?

He didn't say. Also I'm under the impression he was making a blanket statement about Fords, not just Mustangs. I wasn't able to ask him much, I was curious if this problem was showing up on certain years like you asked, or if it was certain mileage, etc. I might be able to ask him when I go back next time.

I got the windows tinted yesterday (20 sides/back) and this morning I installed the new shift knob. It feels faster already.

:)
