Am having second thoughts on doing this:A day late posting as usual.
.... ordered a wall mount garage door opener. My car's therapist confided with me that the car has anxiety about the overhead opener falling.

A little more expensive than a comparable overhead but basically just because it requires a separate device to lock the door in position. But very quiet, easier to install, and nothing overhead taking up space or blocking/dictating locations for overhead lights, etc.
I will really miss the feel and fury of the coyote V8. Pushing 80 sucks! I never expected to have to buy a car based mostly on the seats.Tough getting old, isn't it?
All my life I was convinced in my youth that a sports car was not a sports car unless it had 8 cylinders with 300+ horsepower, a stick shift. When I reached 65+ clutch pedals became harder on the knees, memory lapses to remember to put in neutral/set the hand brake became a consideration, as well as squeezing into a low, 2-door car in a narrow garage. Well.......perceptions of younger years give way to age-relevant wisdom eventually. Decided to give up my ZX-10R at 65 years old. I miss it, and miss those to-the-limits track days, but I have never once regretted admitting it was time to let it go. I hope you too find peace with your decision to sell the Mustang.
As a friend recently told me, getting old isn't for sissies. Hang in there John.
fwiw mine's been in for almost a year and btw I upgraded my garage door to a better insulated one, meaning heavier too. I've had no issues with it. The guys who did the whole package, car lift, new door, hi-lift kit for door and opener said they do side installs all the time for folks with lifts and (if you can trust them) say no issues with that brand/model.Am having second thoughts on doing this:

Make sure it doesn't crimp your washer fluid tube. Was able to install the hood struts today. Such a nice look getting rid of the hood prop.

Yeah, I moved the line down per the directions Ford provided. Seems to clear ok but gonna have to pay attention to it when closing the hood. Thanks for the heads up!Make sure it doesn't crimp your washer fluid tube.

I had this today. Haha. My 305 rears arrived but the 265s for the front are tomorrow. I thought they were today also. I was stuck looking out the window for the van arriving.
Oof, I was afraid that would happen, but fortunately all 4 showed up at 5:34.I had this today. Haha. My 305 rears arrived but the 265s for the front are tomorrow. I thought they were today also. I was stuck looking out the window for the van arriving.

Good choice. The Gt350 center caps fit nice, Blue oval industries has the best price on them. I really like the way the Firestones behave.Oof, I was afraid that would happen, but fortunately all 4 showed up at 5:34.
