I ordered white because I was going to stripe it and while probably red or blue stripes, a white base would allow pretty much any color stripes I finally decided on (except white LoL)
Actually matte or ghost white stripes on a white S550 would look pretty damn awesome. Different for sure.

Starlight headliner.
When I put it back in, the headliner did not exactly line up, I can see the edge looking at the windshield. I’ll probably keep trying to shimmy it or push it in place…we’ll see.

also, I broke one of the sun visor clips that hold it in place. Anyone where I can get a replacement clip? Or a way to finagle it in place?

While not my cup of tea, I applaud your work and dedication of doing that yourself.

At the same time while viewing your photos, I couldn't help to be reminded of videos I've seen of people doing hair replacement therapy and getting hair plugs installed in their scalp.

Joining others in congratulating you, that does look like a lot of work and looks well done.

Now if you could sync the colors to the MyColor on the dash/door handles/footwells, that would be freaking awesome.
I'd assume you could tho, with a module, since those are just RGB LEDs much like you probably have?

they are fiber optic strands. There is a light projector box that uses an LED bulb. I have no clue if it could be controlled with my color but I agree that would be pretty neat.

I drove at night for the first time and they REALLY pop at night. Not distracting at all!

I assume you got one of those thin plastic remotes that has R, G, B and then various color combos for buttons. That must control a module within the bulb via radio frequency.
I'm guessing there's modules out there that would interface this to what the car has.

But I probably make it sound way simpler than it is.
