I stood next to the UPS truck that pulled in to make a delivery at the bank across the drive way. His metal bumper perfectly correspond to the width and height of the scratches...

And the rear metal shelf, step also corresponds to the heavy rub on the tire. Thing is I'm not parked on the customary driveway ingress or egress arcs. Adjacent yes but it would take maneuvering to tag me.
I’m gonna slash them anyway…🤨

Holy Molly!! That is one hell of a duct...and rads stack 🤣
Indeed. It is asymmetric for.maximize cooling.
The idea is to not completely double stack the coolers .basically all 3 get at least some fresh direct air. And the trans cooler ( in the front )should be around 170f ,enough still to cool down radiator and oil cooler (270f)
At least in theory lol

These were every bit the pain-in-the-ass that people say they are to install. I'm glad that they're in, but I never wanna do that again. :D

I had either a breached manifold gasket, or a cracked passenger exhaust manifold. Clearly heard air leak on cold starts, then after 30 min drive, odd ticking/tapping noise. So far, none of those noises now, though I've only got it up to operating temps with some throttle blips and an idle to 3k sweep.

Sounds a whole lot louder for sure! There's snow and salt out at the moment, so I'm waiting for the streets to get cleaned up after the next good rain and the temps aren't freezing before I take her out and see what it all sounds like. I'm hoping that the interior drone didn't get worse...

It's got the factory mid-pipe resonator and Flowmaster Outlaw axle-backs.

Let's see pics of your GT you picked up from D&V today.

Drove it around the block and up and down the frontage road, nothing crazy, 3500RPM or so. Hand brake had a full inch of slack which was NOT how I left it. Wierd but ok.

Drove it 25 miles at city and modest 65-70mph in 5th gear then merged into 495 from Dulles Toll road and give it a healthy bit of gas and it immediately threw a Wrench and went into limp mode. Could sustain no more than 55mph. Oil pressure at 30, temps normal. Throttle behaving very wierd. Drove it another 10 miles straight to Sheehy Ford Springfield. Exhaust sounds like I lost an entire cylinder bank. Engine struggling to idle.

They'll look at it maybe Monday.

So 4 months of no car, 1hr of seat time, and back in shop for hopefully not major repairs.

Sounds like something is disconnected.

Or....the engine blew up.

Can't wait to hear what the situation is.

Installed Red Line hood struts that my wife gave me for Christmas. Also went to the touchless wash and sprayed off all the salt. Will do a more thorough rinseless wash in the garage tomorrow but wanted to get all the heavy salt off first.

And yes, that’s a bunch of salt on the garage floor. Getting the garage floor epoxy coated in the spring, so the salt won’t be as noticeable next winter (and easier to clean off) 😁

Installed and working a treat. What I did not know was the original wheel was heated (I had no options to turn it on so must be a Forscan thingy for AU - not that we need it here, would be better if it was cooled lol…)
Everything went where it was meant to and worked after so smiles all round. Spent a while before I could hold my mouth right and release the airbag. Ended up trading in Allen key for torque driver and released pretty straight away.
Thanks to everyone who posted their Steering wheel choices, options and vendor impressions as these helped me land on a combination that suits me.
cheers

Today I trimmed the A and C pillars to match the headliner. Looks good to me , I didnt like the cheap plastic look. Soon I Will change the speaker grills to black metal/Chrome surround.

That looks amazing! I'm going to add it to my list of things to do.

Just added all the HP 🤣. Had the red cover on my ‘16, wanted something that blended in more this time.
