Finally installed and wired up my active exhaust to a switch! Now I can have them closed on cold start and open on the main roads! The neighbors will be happy when I start it in the mornings!
Don't you get a warning along the lines of "exhaust mode not available" when you use the switch?

That's great. So, did they replace the tire under a road hazard warranty?
No, sorry I shouldā€™ve been more specific. They were able to patch it no problem. But I wouldā€™ve loved to have a tire at no charge. But the service was no charge.

No, my car didnā€™t come with active exhaust so I wired it up to my own switch.

Put the winter shoes on today. Supposed to be highs in 30ā€™s here for the next several days šŸ™. Blizzak WS90 in 235/50R18 on my former 2016 stock wheels. Also installed Rockblokz splash guards all the way around.

LOL. Nice! Theyā€™re predicting a heavier than average winter as far as precipitation for the Chicago area. Fingers crossed thatā€™s not true (except for Christmas).

I love mine so far. In 32f slush and snow they rip. Easily passed everyone on the way home, lol. They feel squishy under hard cornering or acceleration but that's the nature of the beast. Once the tread blocks find their happy spot it feels pretty good in the dry.

New @1320Junkie ported Cobra Jet arrived today! Looking forward to getting it back on the dyno at Kaiser Motorsports.
FYIā€¦.My 22ā€™GT is a dedicated 1/4 mile bracket car. Itā€™s not driven on the street.

Yeah Iā€™ve had mine a few seasons now and they do great. Definitely done better in snow than some pickup trucks.

Thatā€™s what Iā€™ve heard from Tom Skilling. And we all know heā€™s the man when it comes to weather here šŸ˜. FWIW, the National Weather Service has issued a similar prediction šŸ™

Swapped out SVE Center Caps for the GT350 caps from Ford. Perfect fit. Also ceramic coated the wheels (barrels and all) and found a nail in one of my Contiā€™s šŸ˜”. Was going to put the summer set away for winter, guess I have to get one patched before it put it away.

Got her all cleaned up for a cruise this afternoon. I don't have room at my house for her stable mate so brought her down to work so they could meet . Swapping cars and taking the Prowler to CC and then swap back to the mustang for the cruise .

Really love this new IM. I think with supporting mods it can unleash a lot more power than what the recent Steeda video suggested. Interested in what your car does on the rollers.

I dig these wheels. Kinda debating these for a second track set.

On a separate note, finally washed my car lol.

Had another wheel with a leaking valve (that's 3 out fo 4 now). So I did what @WD Pro would do. Cleaned! šŸ˜† Whilst I waited for the call to say the wheel was ready for pickup. Excuse the oxidation on the brake disc; the car hasn't moved in over 2 weeks as I was waiting to fix the valve before using the car.

I just used Sonax Xtreme Plastic Renovator on the plastic and it came up quite nice. Need to tackle the other side at some point!

And finally all back together. šŸ˜ Oh, I also bought a wheel brush and some Gyeon tyre cleaner today, as I noticed the sidewall could use some attention - it is looking a bit patchy.
