Went out for a pleasant 30-minute drive; nothing heavy-footed. Just some growly growl in the city.
Some guy, enjoying his mid-life crises convertible, just like me, was the only thing that stood out on the drive. Might have been a Fiat Spyder 124 or a Miata but he was way back in traffic so couldn't see the badges. Not a single Mustang in sight. The season is almost over :(
Had a nice looking C300 coupe (black with a yellow stripe on the driver's side of the hood, roof and tail) pull up beside me at a stop light, rev and inch forward. He had his window down so I kindly let him know he was about 400hp short; his passenger laughed so he rolled up his window and went full send when the light went green. I casually drove through the light. It's almost like I'm maturing or something. Besides, I've owned the C43 before so know a (possibly tuned) C300 isn't worth getting excited over.
15 degrees C, sunny, no clouds, quiet Sunday morning is a great time to go cruising.
