How big of a pain in the butt was it to swap the pony badge? I looked at a how-to video from CJ Pony Parts and they tell you to snap the old badge off... I'm not 100% sure I want to do that :p
i’m wondering and did the same team looking at the videos. I’d like to get a green one.

It was a pain. The 22 has a rubber air duct under the removable shield that requires the bumper to be removed, that shield isnt in the videos. I was able to finagle my hand down in there and snap off the studs on the emblem and then I went and got some strong double sided tape and used that to attach the new one. Will be much easier if I ever need to remove it.

Next mod came in today. Like it but it came with an RTR logo. I had to research and find out what it meant. Supposed to be blank with no emblem. It definitely looks better than the chrome GT that was there.

Don't know if the year of the grill matters or if worth doing it this way but I recall posts showing where to drill thru the pony from the front exactly where the studs are.

I used a set of needle nose to break off a piece at a time until it was all gone, then put on the new one.

With my 18 I undid the top radiator supports and the air box fasteners. With the air box pushed back it allowed the radiator to be pushed back and allow an arm to reach down to the. back of the horse.

Did my first oil change at 3300 miles.

LiquiMoly 5w50 (recommended for superchargers) with a K&N filter.
Also swapped out the drain plug for the UPR billet version - probably overkill, but it counts as a mod.

Looks like you drive over your Quick Jacks?
Its a bendpak mid lift scissor lift. Mine is made to be put flush in the ground. I just have not had time time to cut out concrete working 84 hour weeks so i made temporary ramps. It lifts 40 inches. On a 8ft ceiling my mustang is about 6 inches from touching at max lift. I do 99% all my own work and with a bad back its a god send, lol

Just be cautious of the drain plug, mine shaved off some of the pan when removing it. I did it once and put my crappy plastic one back on. My UPR sits in the tool box.

I put the new one on with sticky tape, 3 years + still going strong.

Richard
Perfect. Now I just need to find a green one or have one painted need for green.
