Used my calibrated elbow when I torqued mine. It went click.Today I got and installed BMR Jacking Rails on my new 2022 GT. Took about an hour from start to finish. Fairly easy install. Longest part was probably scraping off the seam sealer near the front two bolts (on both the Driver and Passenger sides). I used blue threadlocker on all 8 bolts (4 per side), and I also used a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to about 55 ft/lbs each.

Ok thank you. Will probably give me a shot this weekend.I used a cordless sawzall with a sturdy fine tooth blade. I cleaned it up afterwards with a mill file. I just followed the existing edge.
Damn, living dangerously I see. Spec is 41 ft/lbs, and blue threadlock increases actual value up to 10% over what you set ;)Today I got and installed BMR Jacking Rails on my new 2022 GT. Still barely enough to prevent gravity from ripping the rails off a car.Damn, living dangerously I see. Spec is 41 ft/lbs, and blue threadlock increases actual value up to 10% over what you set ;)
Needs to remove the dashboard to install it I guess ?It sticks on top of factory. It is very thin and a perfect fit. U can’t tell it an overlay. Perfect fitment.
