Are you talking about the caps on the strut tower?
I recently bought a new 6” DA from Griots Garage and used it this weekend. Worked great. I was using good old muscle power all these years. Glad I got the DA. Made it much easier.
Sorry I totally forgot to reply to you both! I managed to repair the DA Polisher today, I swapped out the carbon brushes (although they weren't bad) and also found the main issue - a broken cable in the cord. Thankfully it was near the top. So I just cut the cord, stripped the cables, fitted two new fork connectors and crimped them back on. All back and working. Woop.Nothing like freshly polished glass! You will not get out deeper scratches or pitting from polishing though.
What polisher are looking to get? Battery or Corded?
I replaced my old corded polisher with two ShineMate battery machines recently. With two batteries, you will be armed with plenty of capacity. I love mine, so much easier to manage than a corded machine, without sacrificing too in power or correcting ability. Ideally, I would have got the Flex equivalent but they are so expensive in Australia. For the price of one Flex, I got two machines, four batteries, a charger and a storage bag.

For a corded machine, I would personally go with a Rupes LHR15 MK III. To be honest, the battery ShineMates have me very well sorted though -

I have also put a number of people onto the ShineMate version -

If you mean me, no. I am talking about the Ford Performance fuel rail covers. Are you talking about the caps on the strut tower?
Ohh nice! Is it as easy as it looks (I was reading the Steeda instructions the other night). I've just purchased a new Wera 60-300Nm 1/2" torque wrench to help me with this job (as well for using on the wheel studs). The vertical links and subframe alignment kit are on my list.UPR PRO SERIES VERTICAL LINKS INSTALLED.
