I use RainX as well, makes washing it easier and buys me more time for hard water spots to form. Not that it's a big deal if you have some 0000 steel wool on hand, cleans that outside widow up to factory new.I'm personally more partial to Rain-X's window cleaner for the exterior of all 6 windows + side view mirrors. Cleans and treats for that nice water sheeting away.
I have a titanium knob that doesn't get that hot in the summer. It's much more comfortable in the hot than the cold imo
