It does seem to be an issue with the 2015 And my tail light was made in 2015 the other side was made in 2016

Also if you ever have any issues with the back up camera and other taillights issues. Problem I had was the wiring harness on the trunk lid .ended up having a few broken wires. Was a pretty easy fix .

No on the camera, and the taillights worked fine I even ran the sequencer from Diode dynamics for 3 years No issues.watch out for condensation discoloration on the chrome

When I installed my clear Vland replacements, I smeared dielectric grease on the connectors before plugging them back in. Goes a long way in keeping moisture out.
