I parked next to a genuine only 1 out of 50 in the world(!) McLaren something, but it's NOT a 'P1', says the license plate.
Put 14 gallons of 93 and 2 of E85 into the tank and then proceeded to burn it all off.
Drove in a SW direction from Plains VA on curvy 2-lane, went across the ridge on US33 and then back up US340 to Luray where the real fun started. Route 675 north out of Luray, over the mountain and then follow the valley on 678 to 55. Since it was late in the day (6pm) I had the road mostly to myself. My previous foray on that road was mid-morning and southbound some months ago and I was 'forced' to pass dawdling motorcycle riders on the double. It's not a road to drive fast on but there is a natural rhythm and those Hardley's riders didn't know how to corner worth a damn.
Wow its 129.99$ an hour at the dealership in Montreal what a ripoff!6R80 trans fluid/filter. Messy job, so I thought goto dealer ... $677 (cdn) 2 hours they said at $177/hr plus materials and taxes. Local transmission shop 50min, and $235 all-in.
Nice to find an honest shop, and $95 and hour is pricy enough, but seriously $177?!! at a Ford dealership. ow
Our co just picked up a used Mercedes and the salesman was saying their rates here in Toronto are $200/hr. Insane.Wow its 129.99$ an hour at the dealership in Montreal what a ripoff!
120-130$ is a typical dealership rate in Ontario BMW/Infiniti/Ford. Even Indy shops are $100+.Our co just picked up a used Mercedes and the salesman was saying their rates here in Toronto are $200/hr. Insane.
The seat covers - look great, different!! Are those Katkinz??Carbon fiber steering wheel....
So what's it's like inside the MoM? Are there Mustangs from every single year with no skips in models and performance types?Saturday was the 1st annual National California Special Mustang Day. I spent the day with my friends from the CSWMC at the Mustang Owners Museum. Great day, & great people. For those familiar with the MOM, they have survived Covid and are doing well. Owners Mischelle & Steve Hall hosted the event and did a great job. If you have a moment, please look them up as they need our support. https://www.mustangownersmuseum.com/
No, not that fancy yet. Only been in existence since April 2019. Had a difficult year surviving Covid but think are getting better. Here are some pics as to what is there now. Many more to come.So what's it's like inside the MoM? Are there Mustangs from every single year with no skips in models and performance types?
I have not been there yet, but from what I read and hear they are a great group of people and committed to the Mustang Community. I am hoping all this covid stuff is done and they can thrive. No, not that fancy yet. Only been in existence since April 2019. Had a difficult year surviving Covid but think are getting better.
