Installed my square 285/35/19 setup on X500 SVE wheels. Haven’t decided on the center cap yet. Not sure which ones fit. They have a 2.5“ diameter and come without the SVE stickers affixed.

O.k....those are bitchin'.....

And what I've been looking for. Which width wheels for the 285/35/19 set-up? Does that give you an OEM size?

Looks great!

What width, backspacing (or offset)? Any spacers for front?

Took the cover off for the first time since the end of November. Tried to start her up but it was a no go. Battery is to run down. The draw backs of living in a building without any power outlets in the underground parking.

They are 19x10 but a bit shorter than factory rear PP1 by about 1/2“ i would guess.

Oh yeahhhhhh did some stuff this morning ✌

K&N Drop-In, Airaid Intake Tube, C&L Blow Off Bypass Adapter, and replaced the two hood scoops with something a little more sinister 😎

2.5 hours to do everything. Nothing was really difficult but a couple of takeoff points were a little stubborn. Haven't driven it enough yet to share any impressions, will be back later with a little report 👍

Took off the chrome exhaust tips and replaced with some carbon fiber covered ones. Pics once it gets washed.

Also popped the hood and decided to do an oil change. Looked at the air filter. Ugh.

Is the FRPP2 (same as the GT350) air filter washable, or do I just replace it? First time with this style air filter.

I was anxious and called my ford body shop yesterday, hoping the big mouths was finished so I could install today, but nope. its a small job they are fitting between the real jobs. they said they are sanded down etc Monday is when he plans to paint them, so I just scheduled a lift rental for Tuesday 3pm (adjusting exhaust some as well)

zzz so bored without something to do. guess I should go eat some pizza in my car and drip some grease all over it so I can detail it afterwards.

I have a KN high flow filter for my 2.3 EcoBoost, but I want a 2nd filter so I can swap them and wash/them etc between uses. like a spare I can toss in while other wash/dry.

I swore I read about a AFE 7 layer filter or something, is that better than KN? progaurd or something, im trying to google. or should I just keep KN/filter. Ive never actually cleaned one before, I assumed it takes a couple days to fully dry, before I can oil

I can only find a 5 layer option,

KN oiled filter vs AFE 5 layer oiled, or 5 layer pro?
part of me considering the dry. I read they filter better.

going to Velossa tech big mouths, im expecting to have to routinely change the filters / wash them. so a back up isn't a bad idea to swap back fourth between.

went ahead and snagged it. 49 bucks shipped from advanced auto. went with 5 layer oiled, prob run it as my main over the KN and just use the kn while other ones washing.

No, it's not washable. But how many miles on it? They start looking dirty right away, but no need to change it, or you'd be replacing it every 1K miles. Ha ha. I tried to clean mine with around 4K miles, blowing air from the inside, and hardly any dust came out, hence my 'no need to change' comment. Haven't checked what's the recommended mileage to replace it, but I'll surely replace it sooner than that. Probably at 15K miles. The oiled racing filters (like K&N) filter for crap, and your engine doesn't need the extra air they flow (along with more dirt), so using those on street cars (especially stock) is plain crazy IMO, especially in dusty environments, but to each his own.

There's probably 6 or 7 thousand miles on it. It just looks bad. Maybe because it's yellow, the dirt shows more.
