Hi WD. Any reason you are doing your wheel alignment before the rear braces go on.
Hi,

If I numbered my original list :

1 : Front brace.
2 : Diff bushes.
3 : IRS support bushes.
4 : IRS alignment dowels.
5 : H pipe.
6 : Alignment.
7 : Then finally the rear braces.

I plan to do items 2, 3, 4 & 5 all at the same. Those items will (most likely) result in the rear subframe being moved.

After that I will get it aligned without the braces being in the way of anything and then once everything is set, I will bolt the braces on. I may even be able to fit the braces on the drive rather than the car having to go back on a lift.

I'm 'guessing' that the people who have had trouble aligning the rear braces (and maybe the reason why Steeda made the bolt holes in the braces larger than the original design) 'might' be due to them being bolted onto a car with ford spec (i.e. offset ... lol) rear subframe. I want to try to avoid that issue, hence them being fitted last :like:

Well, at least that lot makes sense in my head ... :cwl:

Then did black side mirror caps. Not sure on those yet, have to give it a week or 2.

With black roof, tires, badges it definitely should have black mirror caps.

Got so used to seeing the Shaker logo on my 16, I decided to fill in that blank space at the bottom of the console.

Where did you get the black mirror caps? Did you just have your factory ones repainted? Looks really good!

Just bought a ryobi Dremel set, it comes with 3 fiberglass Dremel circular blades. can those cut the grille plastics? or do I need to buy new Dremel cutting circle blades.

installing Velossa Tech snorkels, wanting to make sure I got the right cutting stuff so I can do it.
let me know if I need a different disc.

im going to cut the end pieces out with the grille still attached to bumper, no reason why I can't right? I don't see why not, as long as bumper is off the car. should be plenty of room for the little Dremel disc

If I recall , most will remove the grill and sand off the filled sections from the back side . Cutting out the honey combs seems like a lot of work .

tin snips or a utility knife should be sufficient to butcher the plastic.

I’m only removing the end pieces, I read there’s a difference in texture behind the grille, people just cut at that like a line.

That’s why I bought the dremel. Was assuming steady hand, could go around the triangles pretty easy. Removing the whole section as cut out

I’m eliminating the whole area, not even the honeycombs will remain

Ran some errands to burn off the last of the 93 in the tank then filled up with e85 after taking a short break from the stuff...I'm off the wagon again.

I need to seriously look acquiring barrels and home storage now. The trip "just down the road" tonight took over an hour due to traffic.
