Immediately paired it. I had sve axel back with stock resonator. Drone unbearable. So then I got the truX and drone lowered a bit, but still horrible

When I installed the mbrp muffler delete drone was reduced significantly.
Hmmm, wonder why the SVE axle back is so bad compared to MBRP. The only difference is the SVE has a single chamber versus the MBRP which is basically straight pipe. But I guess a single chamber that's not baffled in any way is just going to function as an echo chamber. My Pypes muffler delete doesn't drone too bad with the stock resonator, but it's just 3 inch straight pipe with a Y at the end for the double tips.

Good on ya for going with a proper exhaust though, anything else is just temporary. I'll be going down that road eventually, but for now this is OK.

I don't know why either, but I had the NXT Step version of the SVE and the drone was HORRIBLE. I tried the Magnaflow Tru-X also, with no improvement. It was also weirdly too quiet at certain RPM's. Straight through design with that beer can style construction. Flowtech, Steeda and Roush also are designed like that.

You will have it the way you want it before you know it

Installed a set of 19x10s today.
Definitely need to set it down and close that wheel gap. I know you all have been down this road but, the journey has just begun for us.

Ceramic coated my winter wheels so I can install my Hakkapeliittas

Pics for just the two but I have 4. Lol they were crazy cheap.

Man, I haven’t seen studded snow tires in like 35+years!! My grandfather used to mount them on his 70’s Ford Country Squire!

How is it driving on those?

I haven’t installed them yet but I’ll definitely respond when I do. If they weren’t so cheap I probably wouldn’t have gone with studded but I figured what the heck!

Got the Steeda Progressive Springs + Steeda Camber Plates & bump stops installed today. Handles on rails plus no more “float like a boat” feel. Extremely happy.

I am very interested in your configuration, can you put a link to the articles you mention? I really get lost with so many options available and I really don't know which ones fit my convertible.

UPS dropped off my catted Texas Speed headers yesterday so I’m excited to get those installed soon. Will be paired with my current setup - Steeda resonator delete and Corsa axleback. Quiet mode in the early morning definitely won’t sound the same haha.
