Congratulations! Time to make some v8 noisesOut with the Red eco and in with the Blue GT
probably because he has a set of 11" wide 50+ offset wheels coming in for real track duty.May I ask why those? They look like crap IMO, so hope there's a reason for them extending that far . Just curious. Thx.
Installed OEM GT350 active exhaust on my 15GT and it sounds amazing!!! I recently bought the exhaust for $300 with 5K miles on it. Fit like a glove as all the stock hangers were plug and play. I had to adapt the xpipe where it met my stock headers with custom exhaust band clamps but it sealed up nice. I didn't get the electric actuators with the purchase of the exhaust so I rigged a pair of cables and throttle linkage to the mechanical linkage on the mufflers. I mounted a discreet little knob under my backup light. "Just push and pull" Turned out nice and works perfectly.
I had already purchased a used GT350 rear valance and exhaust bezels a couple of years ago from a friend for $200. It all finally paid off.
It's nice to have stock exhaust on my car again, even if it is GT350 exhaust. The ride is really quiet until you get on it and then it has a nice growl.
The louder open mode is much louder and sounds really nice.

I doubt it. Get one of those sound meter apps for your phone and measure at idle and at 2000 RPM before and after - making sure to measure it properly. I would be surprised if you netted more than a couple dB.do you think itl be much louder with my set up?
So, don’t think I’ll get much volume. Well maybe Itl give me low end torqueI doubt it. Get one of those sound meter apps for your phone and measure at idle and at 2000 RPM before and after - making sure to measure it properly. I would be surprised if you netted more than a couple dB.
Here is a pic of my red shift knob I installed months ago... (don't mind the diecast in it too )Definitely! The stock design is awkward looking to me. I love the red too. The only thing that is no fun, is the shift ball gets hot in the sun.
Does CVF have a dyno sheet showing low-rpm torque improvements? Less restrictive exhaust = faster turbo spin-up and should pull harder for longer but I think you'll find the main source of gains is a much better tune than what Ford puts out, regardless of downpipe.Well maybe Itl give me low end torque
Bummer mainly doing for sound
Just installed an eBay carbon fiber steering wheel on my GT PP1. Everything fit up pretty well and it feels really nice in the hands. By the way, I know the wrap on the bezels aren’t perfect but I will be fixing that in the very near future.
That's nice! I like the accent stitching. Thinking about adding some subtle blue accents to my interior and this wheel would be perfect.
