If that is the "Luxe" set I am covetous. Just put them on my wish list earlier this week.

Wait....wait.....what is "Luxe" set mean? Are there even more plush & luxurious floor mats for our cars? Have I fucked up going with Lloyds?

LLoyd's is the right place, but which mat did you get? Here's the chart: https://www.lloydmatsstore.com/mat-comparison/
Awwwww damn!!! I ordered from Americanmuscle.com. I didn't know Lloyds had different levels. And they don't tell you what level Lloyd's mat they sell on their site!!!

That's it man....game over!!!

ETA; This will not stand!!! I've contacted Lloyds to find out what level you get when you order from Americanmuscle.com. I might have to return these and order directly from Lloyds.

I don't blame you. Looking at the description on the AM site it looks like you got the welfare model. The Luxe mat is 1/2" pile and lifetime warrantied.

Ordered Steeda rear sway bar, end links, and a Ford Performance oil separator. Might be the last mods I get done before the cold weather sets in.

Those were not the mats I was looking for.

I had purchased Lloyd's mats from Americanmuscle.com back in 2012, and back then AM sold them in the "Luxe". I used them for 4 years in my 2012 GT, then moved them right into my 2016 GT for another 3 years. Keep in mind, this is a year-round DD car, and those mats lasted for 7+ years. I just left them in my 2016 GT when I traded it in, they were starting to look a bit raggedy after 7 years. Now Lloyds makes a special type of mat for places like AM, that's kinda cheap. Not bad, definitely better than OEM, but not what I was expecting.

Anyways, Americanmuscle.com was as awesome as they always are. They were extremely gracious and returned the mats I ordered, and I just placed my order for "Luxe" front mats (don't need the rears) directly from Lloyds. And I also splurged and got the trunk mat in their "Ultimat" level, per the suggestion from the great guy at Lloyds, whose name was Jerry. All in black, all plain (don't like the logos and such).

Both Americanmuscle.com and Lloyds have impressed me, both really took care of me.

what @NoVaGT is correct. AM used to sell the luxe versions (i got a set for my 94) then switched to cheaper versions. but kept the price the same....

Gotta order right from Lloyds. Get the "Luxe".

Both AM and Lloyds need to re-think this. For both companies, the products they provide their customers with define their brand-names, represent them to their customers. AM should only sell the Luxe, and they should charge the proper amount of $$. They shouldn't be scared off by the price, we customers will spend the money if the product is awesome.

Making and selling a "welfare model" (:cwl::cwl:) is just stupid, and lowers customer perceptions of the brand names.

this is AM we're talking about here....the ones who thought selling a light up shark teeth grille was a great idea. i worked there 5 years and left when they changed the employee discount structure from cost +8% to now retail -10% just so they could make money off their employess
