2morrow, very nice. From RPI?
They're from my sponsor HCM Carbon. A little Christmas gift to myself.

Ooh... carbon fiber dress shoes... that’s a winner idea there!
Sold! It would match my wedding ring, glasses and all the trim on my car.

If I only had events to wear these to...

Hey, if they came in driving shoes I’d be all in.
x2!

The carbon fiber you have added to the interior of the car looks great! I'm suggesting these for race day. :)
Thanks! I'm lovin' those!

took delivery of my 2016 GT Premium in Race Red.

Car has a whipple stage 2 supercharger, carbon fiber driveshaft, IRS lockout kit, and Borla S type exhaust.

loving it so far! thing is an absolute BEAST! :headbang:
Looks awesome, do you know what CF driveshaft is in it? Pretty much all I've found is DSS and QA1. Does it have upgraded axles too? If not better stick to street tires until you do.

Not sure what type of CF driveshaft he put in it. and I believe it has the oem axles... am I gonna run into an issue if I put performance tires ?

thanks!

I think he was eluding to slicks or R-compounds. And yeah, with hi grip tires I'm sure you'll destroy whatever the weakest link in the system is. In this case it might be the axles.

Bingo you’ll snap an axle launching on anything really sticky or even street tires on a well prepped track with some VHT.

I’m looking into a CF driveshaft because the stocker sucks in every way and the CF isn’t a huge premium over aluminum. Low inertia, high strength, great high speed balance, shock absorption, pretty much perfect. Talking to some circle track guys the QA1 is the way to go. Still shopping.

Received my stainless steel methanol tank from PSI Proformance yesterday.

I custom designed it to fit in the small space left over in my trunk after my sound system. PSI built it to my specs perfectly. The welds you see on the left side are for a baffle wall around the pickup point on the bottom, to prevent the fluid from sloshing.

Took her to the dealership and then drove around in an 18' GT.

I walked away both impressed by the new car all the while holding a lot of respect for my 17' S550.

Feels a little like cheating to me, taking your 17 to a date with an 18 :D
