If I had to fault one thing with the S550's it would be the paint job. I agree, it is super thin and prone to rock chips. I had Xpel film put on the front fascia and modesta coating on all paint surfaces... I am still getting rock chips. About the only way to avoid it is to wrap the entire car i Xpel film (about a 6k proposition) or take it in and get a "real" paint job done.. strip, prime with multiple coats, professional paint job with multiple coats of color, and then mulitple coats of clearcoat, finally a ceramic or ppf (xpel). If you are going to keep the car for 10+ years it might be worth it, but otherwise just get a bunch of dr color chip and do the best you can to touch up the bad ones...

I put my Corsa Touring axle back on today. Was pretty easy but I'm not really satisfied with the way the drivers side went on, there is a ton of pressure on it and it just seems misaligned. I measured four times before I cut with the catback off of the car to the exact 19.75" they specified but it seems like something is off.

It sounds good and doesn't rattle or vibrate the car though, so maybe I'm overthinking it, but the passenger side hangs loosely in the rubber hangers while the drivers side it wedged against them hard and doesn't budge even a tiny bit.

You're over thinking it... we all tend to do that after installing a new piece of gear. Drive it for awhile, do a check and if you don't notice any change you're good.

Looked like a lot of travel on that big bump.

Might be a stupid question but you do have bump stops on that shock right?

Ya I do. I actually trimmed them the other week to make sure there wasn't too much but it still did it afterwards. I'm gonna put something on top of the bump stops that will transfer to the top of the shock and take it for a spin one day. Should be able to easily tell if it's smacking the top.

Installed a Turbosmart BOV and Wastegate onto my Procharger, as well as a MAK inlet pipe.

Shoutout to PSI Proformance for the awesome fab work.

More info in my build log!

So happy Tennessee doesn't require front plates.

Painted my calipers, installed upr badges from team beefcake. Had eBay 5.0 badges and they almost fell off. 20170804_183658-1024x768.jpg 20170804_183707-1024x768.jpg 20170804_183633-1024x768.jpg
