Installed a JLT CAI on our ecoboost. I left the blow-off hose connected out of respect to the wife (it's her DD). Now I just have to sneak a tune on it!

My EB JLT and tune just got shipped today. I need to look into the blow-off hose. Is it simply disconnecting it and capping the JTL? Does it add a lot of sound?

I took the car out for about 60 miles this morning. Came back and checked the wheels and there seemed to be less brake dust as a result on the coating of Pinnacle Black Label Diamond wheel coating. The remainder came off easily with a little detailing spray and a quick wipe. A lot easier than before the coating.

Hi David. The Pinnacle wheel coating did work well. I recommend it. My understanding is that the Steeda Sub Frame bushings do eliminate a lot of the wheel hop on hard take offs and power shifts but do they make the ride a lot stiffer as to negate the advantage of the irs. I have done a lot of mods including a Procharger and lowering springs. Thanks for any info youcan offer. I am looking to install them soon along with the Steeda heavy duty motor mounts.

how loud is it with the blow off hose connected compared to stock?!

considering this but I dont like how loud they are with all that continuous BOV noise.
