Can you not get mulch unbagged in the US? I either have it put into the bed of my truck or delivered onto the driveway.

Yes...we can get it delivered by the yard at home or fill up the bed of a truck. The small bags are convenient for touching up spots but not economical for large projects.

Did misc stuff around the garden, got a lot of chores done. I think the bird is happy too, I gave them a roof. (I took some of the shrub foliage I cut off and covered the nest egg) and it poured rain and its still there so I think it did the job. Momma is still there , I was worried she would not come back due to my scent on the brush I put ontop

I planted/transplanted this Japanese maple a few years back, its finally established pretty well. (pic of when my cat was alive, and his first time seeing the tree)

Well…I bush-hogged the lower 20 and found a stump, that jumped up and grabbed the main oil filter return line.

Hello; Noticed a Robin nest. I have been buying some fresh firewood and stacked it in my car port to age. The nest is on a piece of wood sticking out a bit near the middle of the center stack of wood. The two lighter color stacks are fresh. The dark wood is well aged and will be used next winter.
This past winter was colder than has been usual so i used more wood. I tend to only have a fire during serious cold spells or when the power is out. Had more cold spells last winter.

Nothing exciting, but I raked, cut and cleaned the backyard yesterday. 2 hours! LOL
Looks a thousand times better, but I still have some areas that I need to get under the bushes to neaten it up some more. I'll leave that for another day. lol

I cauked the gaps and painted the attic hatchway. Looks much better.

Tomorrow, I prime the garage sheetrock by the door to the kitchen so it can be painted with some leftover green paint.

Had a few tons of rock hauled in, and put the finishing touches on the front flower beds today. A lot of work, but I saved a lot of money doing it myself.

Master bedroom is finally done. Only five more rooms (1400 square feet) to go. Here's the progression from start to finish. Just have to hang the new ceiling fan.
