Took my little 3000 psi Ryobi to grandmas and did her driveway and sidewalk and around her house back patio etc. itā€™s never been pressure washed in 10 years.

sheā€™s ecstatic. This little unit does a great job honestly. Donā€™t regret giving up the hassle of gas pressure washer, only con is takes a little longer due to less gpm. Meh itā€™s not an everyday task so no regret with switchover

It started raining so I will come back and finish up her curbs.

A quail nest fell out of a neighbor's tree into our yard. Approximately a dozen baby quail running around with mom or dad trying to herd them. Problem is we have dogs and the babies are bite sized and can't fly.

My wife saw them and chased about half of them down and dropped them over the fence. The rest disappeared into bushes. Have no idea if the parents will feed them on the ground and after being handled or teach them to fly but at least no dogs in that yard.

What is it that embeds itself into your sidewalks? Some kind of nuclear fallout? Our sidewalks never look like that and Iā€™ve never seen anyone walk up and down with a pressure sprayer. Weird mojo you got there.

I could not tell you, but the neighborhood used to be beautiful, all owners to now purely all renters 20 something years later. People do not take care of their properties, everyone triples the speed limits, don't stop at the stop signs, blaring their subwoofers etc.

I yelled at one guy saying slow down and he turned around and drove back and flipped me off. - Grandma told me do not say anything to anyone, she's afraid of getting shot here. its that bad. unfortunately, they just keep building low income housing all around her.

she has like 20 birdhouses in the back yard, its interesting once you hear the babies start crying, moms fly in with the worms. but she's very happy with what we did, flowerbeds, power washing, cleaning everything/anything/siding/vinyl/3 days nonstop.

im sunburned like a mother. its worth it though. I am the only one who can help her, my family doesn't speak to each other.

Yeah, hey donā€™t get me wrong. I think what you did was terrific and with phenomenal results. Iā€™ve just never seen sidewalks that dark/dirty. Anyway, good for you to help her out. šŸ‘

FreePenguin I can sympathize with you and your GrandMa. I just moved in February from the house we lived in for over 30 years. I raised my sons and wife there. The neighborhood is crumbling and it was time to move. Same story with the speeders, loud music and recently a couple of murders among the I-12 corridor crack hotels nearby. Regardless, the real estate market was good and we moved in time to take advantage.

When I lived in Winston Salem we had the house, driveway, and walk power washed annually. On the north side it was worse so some years we just had that side done and the driveway on that side. Made a big difference. We had a brick wall that next to the driveway that used to get a lot of moss on it.

That looks like a solid improvement. Itā€™s amazing what a little time one can make an improvement from elements.

i did a whole rock thing like 7 months ago and never did edging. I meant too but couldnā€™t findbricks I liked. I got rid of the brick idea due to imperfections in the slope of yard.

found super thick heavy duty commercial grade edging liner and did it. It was a pain because rocks settled over andgrass grew into them. But I did succeed.

Iā€™m happy with the outcome. Just gotta keep the weeds and vegetation dead. I tore out bushes and the bushes are trying to grow back. Just keep pouring weed killer on them hopefully they give up one day.

took apart the ac and washed out all the radiator fins too.

You have the fence I really wanted but it was out of stock during like all of COVID. All of the stores wasnā€™t able to get any.
Then I worried I wouldnā€™t be able to make it perfect installing it. So I ended up going with the black fence in the back

I also tried the elec pressure washer, and just couldnā€™t duplicate the power of a gas powered version šŸ˜‰

Small engines (pressure washers, weedwhackers, even lawn mowers) benefit x100 when you ditch pump gas and buy canned gasā€¦forget the stabilizers, forget the treatments, go this route and donā€™t look back.

Bought this yesterday to lay down some sod and help stop soil erosion on one side of my house. Surprisingly powerful for such a little dude... After I get a fence up, we'll see how it holds up with my wife's garden plans.

Opened the pool about two weeks ago but my son had to fix pavers at pool steps. He put this patio down in 2014 and winters did a number on it. Back to looking great but lots of construction dust went into the pool. It took me constant vacuum and backwashing the past week but starting to look good.
Some before and now shots.
